hmmm thats actually a smart idea. i should tell my bass and guitar player to get this; since they arn't wireless like the rest of us. Where can we find this?
@boomba101stix Hey man, I'm not sure what you mean. The signal coming from the personal mixer is a line level signal, and usually doesn't need any extra boost in signal level - if that's what you mean by "power the signal". I am using a balanced TRS cable to connect from the mixer aux send to the rockbox input. You might also want to check out my other videos showing the setup too. Thanks and rock on!
@rockonaudio1 if you are playing in a huge venue with a bunch of PA system speakers and all that, what is the point of the guitar amp cabinets if what the audience hears comes from the PA system, and what the band hears comes from either IEM or stage moniters?
@Quakelord1991 They sure do. You can get pretty good isolation with the standard foam buds that come with most in-ears, but if you get custom molds it is even better. What venues or sound guys are requiring you to have your volume turned up high? Most of the time, I usually hear the sound guy asking for the amps to be turned down. One of the benefits of in-ears is that you can usually get away with much lower stage volumes. hope this helps. rock on! - Pete
Please do correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like the female end on the guitar cable shrinks down to a smaller size cable from the rest, so would you experience any tone loss from this?
Although it looks that way in the video, the instrument cable is in fact the same diameter throughout the entire cable. The newest version of the cable is made with Canare GS4 and stays very true to your guitar tone. Thanks and rock on! - Pete
u no Kaganwm it depends if you want your guitar players to have in ear monitors. so never say they don't need to have ones..... its also makes ur stage look cleaner and it helps the whole band..... just saying u no

So basically you have moldy waxy ears and you used tech flex to conveniently run a IEM cable and a guitar cable together.

Do ear monitors help out with noise reduction when you're playing in places that require you to have your volume turned up high?
