i wish there was a hapa dating service or at least an annual convention (like midgets have) so we can meet and breed. If my wife was half japanese/white,our child would be a full blooded half breed! Hapa women where are you!! Doko deska?

I have a hapa baby from my second marriage and 4 blond Caucasian kiddos from my first. In Honolulu I would ALWAYS, sometimes 5 times a day get asked about my baby's ethnicity. Is that a *half breed?* Where's his dad from? Is that a Chinese baby? My Favorite:How many father's do you have with all of your children?! Usually I mentally count for awhile then say, "why do you ask?"

The worst though is that a few people would say what a shame it is that he has brown eyes. I almost decked them!

I'm half Korean, half white (Scotch-Irish, German and English).

Usually people mistaken me for Hispanic, Italian, Eastern European, Middle Eastern, Native American, Chinese, Japanese, White. Everytime when I look at myself in the mirror, I look mixed.

i have tried to contact the agency in regards to a personal reference... in response to the 2010 project: I am 1/2 ethnic, 1/2 white. my mother is 1/2 latina, 1/2 scot/english, my father is 1/2 native american, 1/2 irish. very specific on all 4 sides. i am frustrated with the mass assumptions & would like to be part of the multi racial project as i look very caucasian but am constantly asked "what are you" do to my features-lorraine

but white people usually think I'm an ethnic Hawaiian.

Hispanics think I'm Hispanic (mostly Mexican or Puerto Rican).

The only people who guess Asian are Asians.

but to Filipinos, I'm Filipino.

Chinese think I'm Chinese.

Japanese think I'm Japanese.

Thai think I'm Thai.

I'm Hapa, too! My mom is Japanese and my dad is white....except that my mom is from South Carolina, not Japan, but my dad is retired Navy so everyone assumes they met in Japan, lol.
