He hit another homer for the O's today, that's 5 homers and 12 RBI in his last 16 games. He looked pretty bad earlier in the season, until he lost the starting LF job to Nolan Reimold .He was hitting .150 then and looked lost on routine plays in the OF. But he's been great as the 4th outfielder. He's raised his average to .273 ,and might be in the plans for next year. He's had a few more starts lately with Reimold and Adam Jones battling injuries.

I know what you mean. Especially now that Reed Johnson is proving himself to be an excellent batter with some speed and a great cener fielder. I like Pie, but he's not doing so great. Maybe pinch runner, or use him to rest Soriano or Johnson every once in a while?
