  • His mothers name was agnus or agnis; really don't know how to spell it. She died over 10 years ago. He didn't know his father however.

  • Great music! I used to go hear him on Buckeye in Cleveland.

  • The Tenor violin player sitting down to the right of pic is my father, Billy Garber. Far left, is my great uncle Maxie Fransko. Another great uncle, Martzi Ballog, all deceased and greatly missed!!!

  • My apologies!! After my mom saw the picture, she says that it is not Maxie Fransko as I had thought. This violin player was Ponchina, a gypsy all the same!!!

  • Well if Maxie Fransko is your great uncle then me and you are cousins because that is my grandfathers brother, Paul Fransko...

  • Maxie did not have a brother named Paul. His brothers were Jula, Louis (Gig), and Billy.

  • You are right. I double checked, Maxie was my grandfathers uncle. My name is Daniel Fransko

  • and your grandfather's name was Paul? What was his mother and father's name?

  • Yes I believe is was agnus.... She died about 10 years ago
