I like you job and your camera is outstanding ,can you please tell me how big can you print a picture with 21 mps with out losing distortion ? thanks Luis
You should learn a little bit about photography first. In "The Shot" they gave you that 1ds Mk2 with the 85mm 1.2, with all the parameters already set, and you just have to press the shutter. Do you actually know what exposure is? What f-stops are? Come on... unfair world...
@Malle1221 how do u afford 1ds mk3 in the first place? ive been saving my money for like a year now, and all money ive "saved up" is for a 5d mk2... nowhere near 1ds mk3 :)
P.S. I forgot to mention that I really enjoyed watching you on the show and was rooting for you. If you have any contacts at the channel, please get them to do another season! :-(
P.P.S. I got an email that Dean is doing collaborating with a local studio to host a workshop for $250 - one day to shoot and the second day for his critique. HA! I wouldn't attend if HE paid ME!
You are awesome! My dad gave me a 1DS Mark III this past summer. He told me he had a camera for me when I flew out to visit him in the hospital after a heart attack. Holding back my tears, I told him to rest up, get better and then give it to me. He recovered from a triple bypass surgery and gave me the camera when he came home. I hadn't expected the 1DS Mark III and certainly couldn't believe it. It brought me to tears too. It's a beautiful camera. Enjoy!
I was crying right with you! OMG i love you! you show that people with little xti and little kit lenses can be good! good luck with everything! if you ever need an intern holla!
maria ok im commenting again because you are amazing for writting back! I just had an omg :O moment when I saw your reply! haha thanks so much, maybe one day I will be a photographer and end up photography along with you! it would be an honor :) well thanks again for everything
you are too sweet. just keep shooting! thats the best advice i can possibly give. oh, and remember to always be grateful to your team-please and thank you go such a long way!
I'm a big fan of yours since the shot! I wanted you to win from the first eppy haha. You are such an inspiration since I just started out in photography this year. Best of luck in everything!
thanks so much! i really appreciate that. i wish you nothing but joy and excitement in your career. if you ever have any questions, don't ever hesitate to ask!
i had a camera, just not a professional one. previous to the show, i was using the original digital rebel...6 megs! i shot my entire book with it and the kit lens it came with! i also had a 35mm with one lens. the way i even got into photography was by taking 5000 pictures with my cell phone.
I was just as excited when I got my 1Ds Mark III.

Your first camera? How'd you get on The Shot without ever having had a camera crazy!?

I was wondering the same thing Sheister was. That really shows that it's not about the camera, but the photographer. You rock girl!
