  • A part from the new second movement, this is a reworking of the Sinfonia of San Guglielmo (Li prodigi della divina gratia nella morte e conversione di San Guglielmo, Duca d'Aquitania, 1731), which Pergolesi used again (in its original version, with no alteration) for L'Olimpiade, composed in the same year as Adriano in Siria, 1734.
