The moon is an uninhabitable wasteland, if we were to make it possible to live there, it wouldn't be appropriate to create borders since everyone would need to work together to make it work.
The problem is that no one is really working to make it habitable. We currently have the technology to do so though.
Hi comedytracker. The objective was not to create borders on the moon. That is just figurative. What happened in this project is that so many countries from all the continents worked TOGETHER to create this awesome project. No creating borders here. Quite the opposite in fact!
I saw this video earlier this evening at the astronomical event in Mosta and came to look it up here straight away. I'm really impressed with the initiative and result of the project. A sincere well done from my part.
This was the intention of this project, all the way, to include different cultures, religions, idiologies etc., all in one moon and framed by 140 or so flags of the IYA 2009 participating countries.
