@Girlpump35 EP = extended-play then theres LP = Long play. Pretty much EP means its extended more than the normal capacity of a single (1 song record) it usually contains about 5 songs and an LP usually contained 12 songs. The songs were recorded on vinyl records.

I dont know if this is true but apparently they had an origin re-release back in 2004.. 4 years after the original.. I think her earlier ep's are more rare (Evanescence EP 1998 which is more amazing than recent songs), anyways so maybe theres more than 500 out there and they could be those "pirated" versions, idk what the difference is, the music is still the same.. you can still enjoy it the same, although having an actual cd album is sweet n all but, i wouldnt pay over a hundred bucks for it..

Im pretty sure that it was only sold during her concert in her home town of little rock and limited copies were made, none were made after that but pirated versions have been sold and put up on sites like ebay, if ur lucky im sure you could find an original but for alot more than the pirated version.

I have never been so close to crying over band in my life i read an interview with Amy Lee and she had proclaimed that they were going electro pop i don't know if that's a good or bad thing but if its what i think it is i don't kno if i can live Evanescence is technically the reason why i listen to music and music is the only thing i can count on to never betray you when you need it like i said I don't kno if it's a good or bad thing

Amy Lee likes doesn't like to think of it as a CD. More like a demo one. They only made/sold 2500 copies. Just download it because even if you found the CD, so many copies have been made it probably wouldn't be an original.

amy doesnt think of it as an offical album, just a demo to get their name out there, even amy's dad hasnt got a copy of orgin and he funded the album, he said if he had a copy he would be selling it on the internet and would be a very rich guy. they should re issue this CD, as ppl keep asking for it like my chemical romance did for bullets but i think it would lose it's mystery some what.

There are a VERY limited amount of the CD "Origin", and the only place you can really buy them are on eBay, or a similar site. Even then, there is a chance you'll buy a fake/copied CD. They go for quite a price to :S
