You guys need to freaking get a History lesson... The Original Cobra, which this may very well be had an FE 427. A Hemispherical big block conservatively producing 425hp(so they say) stock in the 60s. That engine was then used in le mans and won 1,2,3 3 years in a row reaching speeds well over 220mph. Not a Shelby Mustang. That's an AC Cobra from the 60's. Not a production car. They only made 2 real ones, the rest are clones. Shelby designed everything himself then used mainly ford parts to power it. He also had a big hand in developing the Viper when he left Ford.

So likely it is a kit like about 100%

To put the kits together you have to be a fabricator because very often parts DO NOT FIT, and the technical support I got WAS WRONG, and the manual is best used AS ASS WIPE, or a loose guide. The webiste with other people that built the cars was/is the instructions.

The welds/quality overall was good, body was terrible. You dont know if stuff fits together unless/until you put them together. They tell you parts bolt on and that is not the case.

Yeah, listen to nic man. The regular AC cobras were ugly and underpowered but they had potential. Shelby took them and turned them into a racing legend. I like to think of it as a collaboration, not a copy, and it was so much better than anything else back then. Way to go UK and USA.
