It's know as "Tam Lin," "The Glasgow Reel," and "The Howling Wind." It's also know by musicians as, "that damn tune all the set dancers like."

oddly enough that reel has died down. according to many ppl, it was over played say back in the 60's-80's and ppl stopped getting so hyped about dancing to it. its a shame tho, its a great tune.

It's a scottish tune tha Michael Sexton brought from one of his trips. Mickael Sexton first used it for set dancing in the Mickael Sexton Céilí Band, in the 90 (?) (In the Clare or the caledonian set I think)

This is one of the best set dance vidoes on youtube. All 8 dancers are very good set dancers, but yet it's not "performance" dancing, people are still fooling around and screwing up. Go maire sibh an lá!
