For a Halloween Costume... If you go Brunette you should go as Rogue from The Ex Men or Jean Grey or The Pheonix. Plus spandex is guarenteed to fit which makes for an easy DIY Halloween Costume & if you already own a brown leather jacket, you've alrady got half of the costume.

P.S. If you go as Rogue & are wondering how to do the grey/white strip of hair; instead of dying your hair, just braid in a weave at the crown of your head.
