I don't think it's a stubborn thing to view beauty as "thin." TOO thin, is of course nothing good, but obesity will never be a beautiful thing. It'll just be a selfish thing when fat people start saying that their fat has to be acnowledged as something beautiful just because they're too lazy to get up and keep fit and slim.

Now to clarify: I wear makeup. I was using that as an example to show people how absurd they sound. If a woman wants to get her lips done to make herself feel better, so be it. I don't like plastic surgery so I would never get it done but these women don't have a screw lose. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I don't view tattoos as normal at all, but I don't call tattooed women or men unnatural or that they have screws loose. It'd be like me saying "Women who wear makeup have screws missing, why alter yourself or lie about yourself when you should be proud of who you are!" given makeup washes off it doesn't change the fact that it's a lie and is altering yourself.
