  • Yeah... And I'm sure that the Republicans make all of their meetings open to the public and televised. Get real. Many negotiations must take place behind closed doors because of the nature of leadership.

  • I'm starting to get the notion that there is a foriegn power operating within the U.S., controlling our elected officials, policy makers in secret, secret governance.

    What do you think?

Do you feel like a spectator, wathing as they devour your country, you and your children?

    What to do...what to do.

Did they redesigned the Coronato Naval Base, yet? Just curious. Just curious.

    What to do...what to do.

Dr. Edwin Vieira, atty. Power of the Purse Power of the Sword.

    That's what to do. NOW

  • Obamination: now even the LIBERAL media is sharing the Truth about this Traitorous/Anti-American Criminal !!!!!!!

  • People get ready, there's a train a comming....

  • It seems even CNN just fed up....

Thumbs up if you are sick of the lies too.

  • Lets hope that this will lead to a single payer or public option system for Americans. It is suprising that they want to throw their money down the drain with for profit health insurance companies. 25-30 percent of the cost small businesses and indiviual plans goes to administrative costs alone for insurance companies. Single payer the cost is around 5 percent, so that alone is a savings of 20-25 percent for all taxpaying Americans.

  • @Actongue Nothing you said could be any further from the truth The fact in the matter is, this obamacare will add trillions of dollars in new taxes that will cripple the U.S. economy. The United States cannot afford this monstrosity of a program.

  • @AntiMarxist4life

Do you understand how Single payer works?

Why do you think that other countries pay substantially less then you do?

It is because even though it is paid thru by for taxes on the front end of Single payer, they do not pay additional taxes on for health care. This means they pay less overall not more.

Single payer is not free, people pay into it, and with such a system people that are getting "free care" in the USA would instead be paying into the system

  • @Actongue The big reason other countries pay significantly less is because the United States subsidizes them.

As near as I can figure "single payer" means "attempting to live at someone else's expense" which can never work because while you are attempting to live at another's expense, he is attempting to live at your expense.

It is a fantasy, like a perpetual motion machine. There is no "single payer."

  • @maplebob23

You do realize that works both ways though. Take a look at the pharam companies alone. 4 out of the top ten are in the States, the Next 6 are in Europe. They pay around half what we do.

People would be paying into the system so it is not free. There is just no charge or a minimum co-pay each time you use it.

It can be set up so that if you abuse it and go in for every single sniffle or runny nose, there could be a slight increase in the co-pay.

  • @Actongue And, of course, people have to be forced to pay into it, isn't that right. What if I am not satisfied with my level of service? Where do I go? Mexico?

  • @maplebob23

    Funny you should say that

Guess where America's health ins companies are sending people because of the cost Mexico Thailand India Europe CanadaTaiwan to name just a few

Your own health insurance comp, might be sending people there and you are paying for their care in another country and have a vacation too

your commet "attempting to live at another's expense" is ludicrous, what do you think health insurance is? it's the same thing as Single payer just on a smaller scale

  • @Actongue Yes, well, health insurance companies are totally voluntary. I think they drive up the cost, like an illusory "single payer" plan would do also, but nobody is forcing me, at the point of a gun, to join one.

If you like tyranny, there are already some countries that excel at it.

  • @maplebob23

How do they drive up the cost? The mass. health care plan is proof alone that they do not. It takes more people to adminster the system in Mass for 6 million residents, then it takes all of Canada to adminster its health care system for 31 million. Mass is run by Blue shield/cross of Mass is why

In Canada we pay nearly half you do If you would take the time to research it, you would find SP has tort Refrom built in to lower costs It has a doctor patient relationship,

  • @Actongue Again, the so-called "single payer" plan is force, isn't it?

  • @maplebob23

No more then the US health insurance system is a "forced" system if you want health care

The difference though is single payer just means you pay less. Most sane logical people would prefer a system where they pay less and have more spending money for what they want. If people are dumb enough to throw their money away, then let them pay for it thru a profit or non profit health insurance system.

  • @Actongue Until ObamaCare, nobody could force anybody else to take health insurance, except in the lost cause of MA. It isn't the government's business who I choose to do business with or how I choose to pay for my health care. I don't care what Canada and Europe do. They can sell themselves into slavery, for all I care. It is their country.

But from what you seem to be saying, slavery is an okay thing so long as health care is cheap.

  • @maplebob23

Selling themself into slavery? How is having more money to spend selling yourself into slavery? You are a slave to an inefficient health care system in the US, as long as you have the failed health insurance business model, you will have overpriced health care.

You also confuse cheap with low quality which is not the case.

  • @Actongue Who would the single payer be? Must be some rich dude or dudess.

  • @maplebob23

You obviously do not understand the systems, so why are you opposed to it?

In Canada It all depends on what province you are in, since each is set up slightly different but if you make 15 k a year you pay into it if you make 25k a year you pay into it. if you make 75k a year you pay into it

In Germany you pay into the system until you reach the cap of around 70k after that you do not contribute to the system What it amounts to is not free and you have more disposal income

  • HOW 'S THAT "HOPEY/CHANGEY" THING WORKING OUT FOR ALL YOU

"OBAMBI-ITES"??? "OBAMBI" (as a well known author calls him)- is a perfidious, arrogant jack-ass..., and you are surprised??

  • I didn't know CNN had anyone objective enough to speak so honest. I guess I'll have to tune in during the factor. It appears that O'Reiley is evolving into a gaga loving liberal.

  • Well said!!

  • LOL Wow - I expected this from FOX! never in a million did I think I'd see this. Nice work CNN!

  • CNN SEES THE "LIGHT" ~ THROWS OBAMA UNDER HIS OWN BUS!

  • Hooray for CNN! THIS is how the people feel. Obama and Pelosi continue to rape our country. Get them out!

  • Communists ALWAYS say they are open an honest because they are ALWAYS secretive and liars! Anyone who professes to believe this stuff is just saying they are obtuse.

This guy is probably not long for the Communist Nuance Network!

  • Thank you CNN for expressing how most of the country is feeling. Keep up the unbiased exposure.

  • I like that this isn't on a biased news channel like Fox News.

  • A BIASED news channel? You're retarded... Wake up america...

  • I meant biased towards the conservative side. You want to explain your answer or just insult people without any grounds.

  • just saw this on some1's FB comment....

I'll say it again: I WOULD RATHER HAVE A SISTER IN A WHOREHOUSE THAN ANY RELATIVE IN THE DEMOCRAT PARTY!

  • Id rather visit my mother in a whorehouse than have any relative in the Democrat party

  • Words of a true republican

  • welcome to socialism America. Obama voters, you reap what you sew. Be prepared to be the statue, with obama, pelosi, etc. being the pigeons.

  • Impeach who ?

  • Impeachment is reserved for a president who acts contrary to the constitution (or does other certain things).

The supreme court has ruled several times in the last 70 years that Congress DOES NOT have the authority to require the citizens to BUY any good or service.

This is exactly what congress and the president have done here... in direct violation of the Constitution.

Therefore, Obama specifically should be impeached.

  • @1flanny

Maybe you can go to another country that doesn't have anything to do with the constitution or the Bible. Really GO!

  • What are, a muslim? Go live in a CAVE with bin laden!

  • @1flanny

have you ever looked at the individuals' survival rates in Communist countries? If you have cancer or some other disease, you are placed on a waiting list which is 6 months or longer until you recieve treatment. Chances are much greater that you will die before you are even treated... Have you even looked at the tax rates in socialized countries? The productive majority are punished with heavy taxes so that those who don't work would be able to get a free ride.

  • @1flanny

And another thing... If you hate the Bible and the U.S. Constitution so much, than leave this country and bring your radical friends with you. Your anti-American ideology is not welcomed in the United States because it is completely counter productive to the principles that the U.S. was founded upon.

This conversation is now finished and not open to any further discussion,

    Good day sir.

  • @AntiMarxist4life Fortunately, the First Amendment (part of that silly old Constitution) grants us the right to dissent. Just because you don't support Christianity doesn't mean you're anti-American. I'm pretty sure America (the land of opportunity and freedom) wasn't founded on the ideology of "If you don't think like us, then you're not welcome!" ...and if you think that, go to college, read a book, and quit being so ignorant.

  • @jnminutillo When did I ever say I never supported Christianity?? Have you even read the Constitution? The U.S. Constitution is based off of the Holy Bible, the fact that the first 10 of our Bill of Rights reflects this nation's Christian Heritage will always be irrefutable. Think about it, without our Constitution, The federal Gov't would than be able to break the Commandments that OUR living God has decreed., Your ignorance amazes me.

  • @AntiMarxist4life That was the generalized "you"...not literally you... as in "just because someone"...

The Constitution isn't based off the Bible. That's why the 1st Amendment says "Congress shall make NO LAW respecting the establishment of religion"... which means Congress will not establish a national religion and that we have the freedom to worship or not worship whatever we want.

  • @jnminutillo You are like alot of others that I have dealt with, ignorant and clueless to what you are talking about. You, like alot of other pick and choose what you like while leaving the rest out. The second Amendment explicitly states that we have freedom of expressing our Religious faith, not freedom from "religion" that most Athiests asserts.

  • @AntiMarxist4life lol the second amendment says we have the right to bear arms. Maybe you should learn how to read. The FIRST amendment says, as you stated, Congress shall make NO LAW respecting the ESTABLISHMENT of religion. Do you not know what reading comprehension is?

  • @jnminutillo I see that you also are hypocritical of other peoples errors. I am sure that you have never made a typo, no sir! You are absolutely perfect...................

  • @jnminutillo The Dictionary word iof the day toay is; typo! Lets look it up!

Typo: erratum, literal, literal error, misprint, typographical error

  • @jnminutillo By the way, here is the full Amendment, enjoy!!

Amendment 1 - Freedom of Religion, Press, Expression. Ratified 12/15/1791.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

  • @jnminutillo

"We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge, or gallantry, would break the strongest cords of our Constitution as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other."

    — John Adams, October 11, 1798

  • @AntiMarxist4life And, as for this comment, sure, the Constitution might've been written by people who had religion and morality as a motivator. But that's why they ALSO wrote the AMENDMENTS, you know, those things they wrote after the fact to clarify what they didn't write in the Constitution itself.

  • @1flanny the Constitution and Bible are rubbish? Well, I understand if you don't believe in the Bible, but the Constitution is what the USA is based on. If you don't like it, get out of the country and don't try to ruin the country because some people actually DO like it.

  • @1flanny your thinking is antiquated

  • @FLYJB

I agree with you on the Impeachment. He also is systematically dismantling and breakeing our country. If this continues our country will not be able to defend itself. Failing to protect our country is grounds for impeachment as well.

  • Nice to hear CNN finally get it right. Obama voters "you suckers"
