I hate to break it to you, but the study failed to control for pesticide usage, in other words it's almost entirely useless. You need to remember that genetic modification is a process not an end result so even if these foods are actually dangerous at the amounts they typically consumed it says nothing about GMO foods(which I assure you are just as real as the food you claim as real) as a whole.

The fact that food is GM doesn't bother me. It's how it's been modified that matters. If somebody modifies corn so that it resists disease, that's fine with me. If that means I get mildly sick from the corn's enhanced immune system instead of terminally ill because of some germ or virus, so be it. As long as it's properly labeled as GM. I also don't jump every time a group of career politicians try to posture themselves as heroes after paying some university schmucks to publish a bias study.
And besides, anyone who recognizes evolution as a fundamental process in nature knows that genes automatically modify themselves all the time, and sometimes to our detriment. Of course that's not exactly the same but, the processes they use in the labs to modify genes is the same that works in nature, it's just regulated and focused instead of random.

GMO is indeed dangerous. If you feel inclined to research Monsanto, you'll find it is one of the most evil entities in all the universe. I dare anyone to research the company's founders and the history of the company right up to the present. And people think evil doesn't exist...laughable.
I try to eat healthy and organic as much as possible. I don't like what is occurring with all the genetically modified seeds and I'm looking into buying heirloom seeds to store for the future.
@TracyM1974 There is a good reason why they do that #1 if it cannot go to seed you have to buy more seeds from them. #2 if a GMO were to cross polinate with other plants who knows what kind of a plant they would produce.
80% of Corn grown in America is Genetically modified, and that number would be higher but Congress has decreed that at least 20% of corn grown not be GMO as a precaution for the possible harmful effects of GMO foods.

And when you control for car accident rates, smoking, alcoholism and most importantly, obesity (which MAY be the result of GMO consumption, but I have yet to see any data on this) then American lifespans are the highest in the world.
This fact alone disproves the entire notion that GMOs are a "dramatic" health concern.
Research like this still should be done. You just need to be fair.
This was a scientific study (not funded by people with a direct financial interest in the outcome) that reported damage to major organs, I would call that a dramatic risk.
Also last thing I heard was that life expectancies are no longer rising and even going down in the US. US life expectancies are way down the list compared to other developed countries and cancer has now overtaken heart disease as the leading cause of death.
