@mrBIGSandlilman - for one thing i find it much easier to access the notes in hand position. if i can still make the same sound and not move my hand out of hand position than i could be a bit more fluid.second.for soloing, i play from the 8th fret and up to the 20th and in that zone i basically have all the notes i need including i lower note (except for-b/c/d/f low). it looks like a lot of strings but lets face it there is only 10 new notes on my 6string and 5 on your 5string. so lets use'em/
@TheCoolMardigan ABSOLUTELY. when it comes to finding your own creative voice and playing w/ other you HAVE to get friendly w/ scale. i have a full volume of Major and minor scales plus all the modes that go w/ it.so subscribe to have these lessons at hand..thanx for checking out my vids... peace
that bass has too many strings when would you ever use more than atleast 5
