yeah, its often useless in men`s singles of the pro`s. just the players with an excellent defense play sometimes clear serves, to example kenneth jonassen.

so you are trying to say only people with good defence can do clear serve. but arent there advantage for clear serves? since its so far away from the net

I`ve mentioned it here: "because the one who receives would thundering down the shuttlecock! the receiver would win the point or at least would have an advantage" of course everybody of the pro`s can do clear serves, but they dont, because they are in defense when they do it. its not a great advantage when you have to return a 300 kilometers fast shot right after your serve.
