Aqua Velva, now marketed by Combe, Inc. (under license from Williams), is still available on supermarket and pharmacy shelves, 'mashugac'. Their latest ad campaign featured the slogan, "Men Get It". Yep, that was Jo-Ann, all right...
The J.B. Williams Company, the makers of Lectric Shave [as well as Geritol, Sominex, Serutan and Aqua Velva], co-sponsored Welk's program from 1959 through the end of its ABC run in 1971, then in first-run syndication until it finally ended in 1982. Part of their sponsorship deal included Welk's cast appearing in an "integrated commercial" for one of Williams' products during the show. This is a good example...and that's the show's long-time announcer, Bob Warren, at :18.

Anybody have the commercial with Jo Ann Castle sitting at a
regular piano, and singing the main line of the jingle?
