  • very helpful, thanks.

  • thanks! helped alot

  • Thanks alot! I will subscribe! keep up the good work!

  • Followed it step by step, doesn't work.

  • When I try to add it to another background, it either goes white or has the checkered thing...I just want the image. Help?

  • Aw thanks this was indeed helpful.

  • my image became black instead.

  • lol when i save it as bmp it does not stays transparent

  • cheers this helped me out

  • a real fast way to loose the back ground is to goto layers, add layer. then select paintbrush. draw all around what ya want to save. select magic wand and click inside of where you drew. goto edit, click invert selection. on layers window select picture image layer. go up to little scissor icon and click. everything outside gone!

  • I did what you said. I used a picture of our dog. I removed the background and saved as a png file. When I opened a tree picture I wanted to use as a background and pasted the dog in she has a black background. I opened the dog in Irfanview and she has a black background in Irfanview too. What did I do wrong? Thanks

  • @joni57039

You saved it as a png file. It needs to be saved as a gif.

  • I did everything you did. I used a picture of our dog. I saved as a .png file. When I tried to paste it into a tree picture I wanted for a background, all I got was the dog in a square black background. What did I do wrong? Thanks

  • Thanks ^-^

  • Thanks alot. But what is with the piano music?

  • @wallpaperkilla Music is La noche tan bella by Ken Liu

  • @Phthmaster99 Yep ;)

  • You can blur the picture if you do a fail or make the lines inside

  • or, insead of doing that with the more complicated background, you click lasso select and go around the stuff you dont need. (ill put a tutorial up...) and then you cut what you selected with lasso select!

  • wow um she goes fast with the second picture

  • Although your video is very helpful, there is a faster way to do this!

As you said, get an image with a good amount of contrast between itself and its background; then, paste it into paint.net, and select the magic wand tool (S); Click the background and voila! your image has no background; To make it overlap another image, cut and paste it into another layer and move it around as you please over the other image...

  • @TasteoFail Thanks so much for the tip.

  • nigga you move slow as fuck

  • Thank you so much i like the video

  • @Thedjbrown25 You're welcome ^^ I'm glad you liked it :)

  • You're welcome indeed! :D

  • Hey, this was pretty nice! =D

I didn't know you also made tutorials like this. Man, you do so many things already! =) And, in my personal opinion, you truly excel at every one of them! ^_^ You totally rock!! :D, seriously! ^^

    (continues...)

  • Thanks :D

  • nice

  • Thanks :)

  • Interesting, thanks FMP. :)

  • You're welcome ^_^

  • isn't there like a selection tool, like the lasso tool in photoshop? i think it's pretty much standard in all image editors

  • There is a magic wand like there is in GIMP, but it's very "trial and error". I think it's a lot easier to do it this way, a lot more straight forward.

  • ok my comment was much longer but youtube wont let me post it

    I basically said

"I have always wanted to edit myself out of normal pictures and pasting myself into an awesome background like Tokyo lol" I use photoshop on both my pc and mac, I may have to get this for PC though cause PS takes too long to load on pc.. thanks for the recommendation :)

  • lol...YT is annoying sometimes. That's cool...I should do that :P

    You're welcome ^_^
