there are several reasons that KD didn't get a coaster like that. There are more parks closer, that already have Hyper Coasters, so adding a huge coaster that no close by park has will help them draw in crowds.

Kings Dominion is kickin ass they just built dominator last year and 2 years later in 2010 they are building a giga coaster. Oh and for all u idiots like 007 Mr james below who said the hill will only be 250 foot max or under 300 foot, a giga coaster's hill exceeds 300 feet never under 300 feet thats called a mega coaster. And i heard kings dominions is gettin a new wooden coaster too, this is gonna be one of the top theme parks in the world.

My uncles friend works construction for this project he said they are talking about mabeye adding a wooden coaster but they gotta clear land first and get giga started.

Yeah anything is possible with these coasters, like i live next to another park called kings island (cedar fair also bought this one), and i didnt think they would be able to put in a new 280 ft coaster in the middle of the park. instead they put the tracks over the walkways and the concessions. they'll probably do something like that here

well look at how cedar point did it, no ever could of guessed that millenium force would of been in the spot it is today. They had to relocate the ferris wheel and rework part of the train track to do it.

keep in mind, this is the land clearing as of June 29th.... Most coasters do not start land clearing until the end of the season.... this coasters is going to be be massive, hence the early clearing.
