  • Avoid the crowds!

  • @TomChair For the next three months, that will be impossible!

  • Nice video. It was neat to see part of the visitor's area of the zoo and the duck is cute.  Wow, was the attendance for the day really THAT low? o.o;

  • @phantompanther The weather really was terrible. I think most people either stayed home or tried to get back home as quickly as possible if they had to be out or go to work.

    By the time I recorded this video, the winds were getting much stronger, and about a half an hour later, an umbrella was useless!

  • @ZooVisitorMM Aww, okay. That's a shame! So the zoo doesn't have many covered viewing areas, I assume?

    It rained while I was at the zoo once. Part of the zoo even flooded a bit. I tried to cross it and it was going okay for a while, but then it got a bit deeper randomly, causing me to jump like a gazelle the rest of the way ( for some reason I thought it would be better? ). A friend was walking rather far behind me and didn't know what was happening, but thought it was funny, heh.

  • @phantompanther Actually, the Zoo has four buildings (the Small Mammal House, the Reptile House, the Primate House, and the Avian Center) all of which have plenty of room for visitors to come in out of the rain.

    It just seems that I'm the only person (possibly on earth) who wants to visit a zoo no matter what the weather is like. Most people only think of visiting a zoo in "nice" weather.
