  • they played that better than BD. :p

  • @IrrelevantTV

    not yet buddy

  • i know a guy who was the center snare one yr hes a beast

  • if it wasnt hard than anyone could do it. and if this wasnt michigan state than anyone could could get in and everyone would play match grip. this is why state is good.

  • thats effing good for a college, or any DCI line for all that matter...

  • There is only so much that sixteenth notes can do for anyone and that over / under grip on the snare line has got to go. No reason at all to use the over / under grip anymore since the drums are harnessed and haven't been slung on an angle in decades actually needing an under grip to get the right angle on the head. Just stop it with the nostalgia. It's just making the snare line's left side weak.

  • its called traditional grip and it looks more professional

  • @tsbalk Drumlines that use matched grip are few and far between. Traditional grip really has no disadvantages to matched other than being harder to teach. It looks way better and is more fun to play with IMO.

  • they need to use a met........they fluctuated tempos like every 5 seconds......

  • I loved it! I'm glad we didn't have to watch that Ann Arbor group in this vid.

  • bad attack in the start of the vid

  • That first measure isn't even close to being rhythmically accurate. You can't even keep an eighth note to it... Looking back, how the hell did we play that together?

  • @snarejordon What do you mean? the first measure or two is just 4/4 it might be a little bit off, but it sounds fine :p
