You're making me feel old. Ha. There wasn't YouTube but the cameras were small enough back then that it wasn't that big a deal to carry one around. This was shot with a canon es-250 video8 camcorder. Nowhere near as powerful as the Sony SR-11 which I use now. I had to carry the Canon on a neck strap whereas now my camera fits in my pocket.

I was 38 when I shot this. For 36 of those years the Tribe was horrible. So bad that I never thought they would ever be in the WS. It was an exciting time.

Im from Washington, too bad the Mariners did not beat the Indians, but braves are my favorite team, I just wanted to cry watching this video, I miss John Smoltz, Maddux, Chipper Jones, David Justice, Tommy Glavine, the Ramirez, Lofton days. Its funny how Manny won his last world series, beating the Indians his first team in order to advance against the rockies. Manny in my book is arguably the most disciplined hitter in the game.

There was no World Series in '94. I remember that due to how hot the Indians were and how upset I was that the season ended. It was CLE and the White Sox as the hot items in the AL that season... Didn't follow baseball very closely at the time, but I do remember that- it was when CLE started becoming a real contender. That could have actually been their year.
