I remember my older brother took me when i was 13 to see them in Dallas after their first album came out. there were only maybe 50 at this show. afterwards we waltzed backstage to meet em. The lights were on but nobody was home. They looked far worse than anything in these pictures. Only motivation i've ever needed to not do drugs.

When the stones recorded in NYC the went from Sticky Fingers (71) instant classic to Exhile on Main St. (72) possibly one of the best albums ever conceived....to Goat's Head Soup (73)...
