One time very young due to some very bad family issues I was put into a so called Christian home and I went with this family to their church and what I learned of Christ I admired even thought oh this is it.

When I got home I took the religion of my own culture and now I recently find Buddhism a good compliment to my faith.

all i know is, as a former atheist, i died back in 2009. It was the scariest experience of my life and when i got back into my body and started breathing again, i became a believer in Christ and that very day, I repented of my sinful lifestyle. That night, I had a dream I was looking in the mirror and I was glowing and in perfect form. I think that was the day I was born again because every day since then, daily, I'm reminded of his teachings; it's like his words are a part of me now.

Life is probably inevitable, whenever the conditions are met. It's not a "huge coincidence" that we live on a habitable planet, as we are a result of there being such a habitable planet. We did not come from chimpanzees, rather chimpanzees and humans both came from the same ape. Our DNA is a code which gives instructions to build another human when we procreate, however it does not copy it perfectly which explains why nobody looks identical, and it is why animals evolve.

"Thou shalt not steal" is not a rule exclusive to Christianity. In fact, it's only one of three of the 10 Commandments that are actual laws. All the other rules are based on primitive beliefs...like graven images, a holy day, mind control, and seeing women and asses as of equal importance.

One time very young due to some very bad family issues I was put into a so called Christian home and I went with this family to their church and what I learned of Christ I admired even thought oh this is it.
Then I watched and experienced these people whom piously used Christs spew and act out such vile bigotry evil judgements perversion vicious jealousy and hate.
When I got home I took the religion of my own culture and now I recently find Buddhism a good compliment to my faith.

It was the scariest experience of my life and when i got back into my body and started breathing again, i became a believer in Christ and that very day, I repented of my sinful lifestyle. That night, I had a dream I was looking in the mirror and I was glowing and in perfect form. I did not do that research for anything more than wanting to understand the truth. Curiosity drives me and because I was not indoctrinated I was able to do my own research and come up with my own conclusions, once based on evidence. I'm not saying there is no god, all I'm saying is that I can't be convinced by circular logic and zero evidence.

@sg51863 The earth may be in the "goldilocks" zone (not too hot, not too cold), but we think we are lucky because we are the ones thinking about it. Life is probably inevitable, whenever the conditions are met. It's not a "huge coincidence" that we live on a habitable planet, as we are a result of there being such a habitable planet. The earth was obviously not made for us. We can't see harmful UV rays, there are tons of natural disasters (which are scientifically explained, by the way),

@sg51863 There is no 'missing link' between monkeys and humans. There are small gaps in the fossil records as the conditions for fossils to be created are very rare. We did not come from chimpanzees, rather chimpanzees and humans both came from the same ape. Our DNA is a code which gives instructions to build another human when we procreate, however it does not copy it perfectly which explains why nobody looks identical, and it is why animals evolve.

"Thou shalt not steal" is not a rule exclusive to Christianity. In fact, it's only one of three of the 10 Commandments that are actual laws. All the other rules are based on primitive beliefs...like graven images, a holy day, mind control, and seeing women and asses as of equal importance.

The one thing I don't do however, is say that because I don't know, it means 'God' did it. 'God' is only a hypothesis. 'I don't know' simply means 'I don't know' and I don't feel the need to make things up about the unknown.
The natural is only ever evidence of the natural. We use the known to explain the unknown, not the unknown to explain the known.
