Wow those cocksuckers from EMI blocked this video. Good thing the internet offers options against these bloodsucking shit sticks. Hey EMI. Go fuck yourself and die you censorship pricks.
great video... i am from this area, new guinea or well known as Papua. I used to live in AMA complex next to Sentani Airport. Great people there and great pilots as well. I am an aerospace Engineering student(with flight hopefully); wish i could work for AMA. great video man!
Love your Video.Reminds of of the scene in the movie Air America showing the Porter landing on what apeared to be an incredibly steep jungle runway. Man, What your doing there is real flying, operating to the edges of the performance envelope. For you and the aircraft. Very exciting.I got a couple of questions.
-Who is the music your using?
-I understand the Porter has a reversible prop, Can you put it in that mode on final or do you have to wait till touch down?
- reverse trust.. we use reverse only on the ground(!) So after touchdown, in flight it would produce so much drag that you lose control, furthermore it generates a lot of buffeting, not good for the aircraft..
I enjoyed the video, and needless to say i am envious. I have not been able to fly for 8 years now. I hope that you realize that God has certainly blessed you. I am happy that bush pilots like you are still flying with passion for the thrill and enjoyment.
That is flipping AWESOME!!! Theres no flying like that in the US midwest. Did you make these vids yourself? Who were you flying for at the time and how did you get into it/end up there?
You can only end up there if you have a TT of 1000 hrs and tail dragger experience..
the company I lew for is called 'Associated mission aviation. For contacts try the 'MAF' in your country. It is great flying, but dangerous as well. The pay is not great, but the experience one that will stay with you for ever.. kind regards Marc Ket.

I am flying an Antonov-2, 240 Meters in 4000ft could be a big problem, even for us (short landings an take off).

Hi Ismasamov55..
Indeed awesome flying. To answer your questions:
- reverse trust.. we use reverse only on the ground(!) So after touchdown, in flight it would produce so much drag that you lose control, furthermore it generates a lot of buffeting, not good for the aircraft..
No idea about who is the artist of the music..
greetings
