No no Goldfish. Almost None of them are about "getting drunk with my best friends." Their songs do have messages at least the ones after Raynor was kicked out of the band. For instance the "The Party song" might talk about going to a party but its about the how pointless partying is. Most of their songs are about relationships.

The reason why blink sold a lot of records is because they were doing a punk trend -im not saying blink music was bad, bec its amazing-, but AVA "music" is alot better than blink's. Even though AVA music uses alot of synth, it incorporates a more melodic tone that is far beyond the scope of blink's "one, two, three power chords."
