2. Korea's "White Room" copied Japan's "Ringu"
3. Japan's "The Haunted School" copied Korea's "Whispering Corridors"

Uh, ideas are circulated worldwide.
Some people have similar ideas to others, or improve and combine different ideas.
As for Korea copying Japan's movies, MOST asian horrors are SIMILAR in some way. In fact, lots of movies are extremely similar.
Korea had their own good scary ideas, and so did Japan.
Hell so did Europe, America, Africa, etc.
No country is better.
Iraq is great too. Respect other country's cultures.

You might want to stop saying "copy" and start saying Korea was "inspired" or "influenced" or "got some ideas from Japan" , not COPIED. Using that word is so immature. And did you know? Those asian horror comes from BOTH Korea and Japan, doesn't anyone know they BOTH had the whole host thing since the old, old times? Japan was just first to use it in a film, but they are innocent because they never claimed it was originally theirs, and SAME WITH KOREANS, who also never said it was theirs. there is a story and history of asian ghost that started with long hair was in Japan called "Yotsuya kaidan" and this is the original ghost stories from 100s of years ago!
basically Japan never copies from korea(why should they?) and koreans are the ONE that copies Japan and telling everyone on the net that they are the original.

this one(face) is another copy from the Japanese horror movie.
believe me honey, look n to Yotsuys kaidan, which is one of the worlds oldest horror story in the world, and most of the asian horror movies get the idea from this YOTSUYA KAIDAN and even todays Japanese horror movies as well!

so I enjoy watching any kinds of horror movies, and I really like the Japanese horror movies for long time even before RINGU, or JYUON(the grudge), or RASEN.
there are so many good horror movies from old time Japan.
check out "YOTSUYA KAIDAN" or "ROKURO KUBI" or "OKIKU".
they are old, but great movies.

um, korea's "Cheon-Nyo Gwishin" is also 1000s of years old, it was actually known the same time as japan, no one copied each other, they both had it. the long black haor thing existed in both countries as it was a tradition that at certain times women had to wear white clothes with untied long black hair...

did you know the whole "long black hair" aspect came from korea? ringu's idea of the ghost was used by coping the koreans. besides, that ghost style was first invented in korea, japan wa sjust only the first to actually use it in a film, so basically all the ideas and ghost creations are korean, japan just never mentions it.
