"Empty Room" is OVERRATED! Seriouslly, the melody sounds so familliar with Celine Dion/Mariah Carey/Kelly Clarkson-songs! "Hero" was too much computer-sound and too much fashion!! Sibel is a great singer and the song is great but if you look on her in other media, she's a real big EGO!!
The best song, that could have give Sweden more points was;
"Love In Stereo" with Ola, why?! Because it's a REAL SONG and HIT!!!
Yeah, "Love in Stereo" kinda became a hit.. (2nd on Swedish single charts..) Couldn't care less though.. It's one of his worst songs.. so boring. :S I don't think it'd have done well in ESC.

About Sibel; I've never noticed that.. Have not seen her much in media at all actually so.. Either way I don't think the personality of the singer has got anything to do with whether you should send his/her song to ESC or not.
Hey fnaas, who's your favorite for this year? I say Saade has a good shot of winning it (the songs have not been heard though). I also love Elisabeth Andreassen and Linda Bengtzing! By the way, Linda is 3 of 3 in making the final!!!
As you say, the songs aren't published yet.. so it's hard to know.. But judging just by the names I think Sanna Nielsen, Le Kid, Linda Pritchard, Love Generation & Eric Saade will be along my favs.. ;)

@fnaas: I mean, I read at esctoday.com that Linda Bengtzing has tried 3 times in the past to represent Sweden (last in 2008) and all 3 of them she made it to the final. Just that.
My favorite from 2008 is Calaisa, BEAUTIFUL!!! One of the best EVER, along with Timoteij (Kom) and Maarja (in 2003, didn't make the final)! I even found Maarja's song ("He is always on my mind") in a video completely irrelevant to Melodifestivalen!!! The uploader was German, I think.
