  • EvikeTV brought me Hear!

  • Not saying its not a HUGE innovation just saying it could have been much better. If the would have added a recoil opperation to the Vector recoil redirection mechanism it would have been that much better. and making it bullpup would allow for longer barrel without adding to the overall weapons length pluss making use of that large Vector mechanis as a stock. So was simply saying I think it could be made better. and yes I agree the KRISS is much mp5.

  • To bad they didnt make to abviouse best choice and make it bullpup making use of that large bulky v compartment. Could of had a longer barrel whith additional anti recoil mechanisms like on the G3 A3 or the mp5. Wow do I have to think of every thing.

  • I want this gun.

  • nice shirt!

  • I wish I have a tan version of this gun I painted mine green. Looks goos

  • By "straddle" I mean that the counter inertia device would be on either side of the bolt, no behind it. If US patent number 7201094 is the correct one, the drawings clearly show the intertia counterweight (item 511) BEHIND the bolt (item 501).

I think it is interesting that this patent originated in China...

  • nice cyclic rate ,sweeeet !!! ,give the manufacturer a medal.

  • I don't think the mechanical elements of the bolt factor in here. I studied their patent and they could have had the counter-interia mechanism straddle the bolt. The limiting factor here is that they got lazy.

Hitting harder than a 9mm isn't saying much. There are bullpups out there like the Kel-Tec RFB - 2500 foot-lbs of energy versus this Kriss at about 500 FPE max.

  • The RFB is a .308 that's like throwing a concrete block at someone. Plus RBCD have high velocity rounds. Their 45. acp BMT travels at 2100 fps or so. I didn't believe it at first, but it's what MIL/LE use and it penetrates level 3 armor (i'm not sure which specified) True the RFB would hit alot harder, but i'd rather stick with the vector in CQB situation and use the RFB mid-long range engagements.

I'm not sure what your saying about the "straddle the bolt" because it seem is doing that

  • Too bad this isn't a true "Bullpup". A 5-1/2" barrel is awfully short for a gun this long and heavy. With hotter ammunition than .45 Auto you are losing a lot of energy with that short of a barrel.

  • thats true but it is still hitting harder than a standard 9mm round, but i do agree with you that a longer barrel would be best. although i dont think you could do a bullpup design with this gun because of the mechanical elements of the bolt.

  • it's not even a pretend bullpup, trigger is behind the magazine. 5" barrel is the same length as a full sized government 1911.

  • True. TDI annoucned that they're working with a new .50 HMG with the army (i think) and they plan to expanded their design to 5.56 and 7.62 x 51

I can't wait to see the next rifle caliber civil carbine they produce.

  • Definitely need bigger magazines and a slower rate of fire. As unnecessary as I think drum magazines are they need at least experiment with them. This gun and the Thompson have to be the best SMG's ever.

  • A drum would be interesting, considering it takes glock mags.... but definitely with that rate of fire and mag cap this isn't the sort of weapon you'd want to fire out of semi automatic in a real life situation.

  • They also sell a Kriss glock magazine which has a Kriss extension on it holds 40 rounds. You can also tune the speed of fire but at maximum it does 1500 rounds per min .45ACP. Incredibly fast the glock G18 is around 1100 RPM in 9mm.. Late model Thompsons 600RPM

  • Thanks for the response, very informative. I'm glad they're considered the fact that most people will want to fire more than 13 rounds of .45 ACP out of their rapid fire submachine :) 1500rpm is nuts.

  • ha dude was so excited

  • this gun is so acurate and has alot faster fire rate than p90 i already love this gun

    for mw2!!!

  • LMFAO check out 1:40, he looks like a dickhead. LOL nice vid tho'

  • ha 1 round burst? thats called semi auto retard. And.... 25 round burst? Thats called full auto. Do you have downs?

  • this would be a great gun for airforce pilots as a last line of defence in case of geting shot down...would be a great replacement for the mp5...

  • Nice gun

It looks 90% like the Deatomizer MK4 in The Conduit

  • They're gonna have this gun in Modern Warfare 2

  • im glad and the noobs wont be able to use it because most of the time the good guns are unlocked early in multiplayer

  • thats gonna be badass!!!

  • Yes and unfortunately that means every fucktard who buys the game will be coming on here commenting on the videos.

  • well really what this gun is most closely compared to is the Thompson 9mm/.45

If you have ever shot one of those, especally with a drum clip, u know your bearly even hitting in the general direction your pointing.

  • what nation's armies will be using these?

  • This thing is nice, I just think they need to make it look a little nicer and use an UMP magazine.

  • Mad- Ump magazines are expensive, wont work in the civilian usc carbine unless you shell out the cash for a ump lower reciever.

Using glock magazines and then a magazine sleeve extension was brilliant giving you 13 to 30 rounds.

  • Glock Mags? Why out of all mags did they have to use glock mags? First off pistol mags are naturally smaller and thus limits capacity. Secondly pistol mags are in tighter dimensions and increases the risk of it jamming when there's too much shaking or if dust or sand gets into it. They should've made their own mags.

  • there are some large Glock mags, the MP5 mags are usually 30rds. Have you ever had a Glock mag jam, I have yet to hear, see, or have a Glock mag jam

  • I want one.

  • The thing is ugly but I'm impressed with that auto fire.

  • i wish they would put an mp5 extendable but or even remove the current but stock. it look better that way

  • Yeah, not sure what you are talking about. This is the biggest innovation in automatic fire in many many decades. The Mp5 is great, but this weapon is head and shoulders superior to it.

  • Absolutely. The Kriss is the SMG we all been waiting for.

  • You sir, are absolutely correct. The KEY WORDS being AUTOMATIC FIRE.

on the other hand... in semi-auto (ie civilian legal) i see it serving no better purpose (minus the 16 inch barrel) than say a glock 21 or 1911 chambered in .45 acp

    ....FUAROCK

  • I want to buy one but... when the civilian version is going to be available and how much the super v costs?!?

  • it is out, dunno the price though

  • they already made a drum magazine for this right? that would be cool, a 100 round, single drum, lightweight magazine with instead a .44 cartridge projectile, yeah, one day.Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

  • Great video Matt, I want one of those. For those of you who have not trained with Matt, I would recommend him only if you want to shoot faster and more accurately than you did before meeting him. Matt is one heck of an instructor and his videos are designed to help you retain what you took away from the class.

  • I used to shooting in Canada all the time in the early 90's. Probably shot up there 20 times or so. Haven't been there in years. Would be fun to get back up there. How about hosting a class?

    :-)

  • Great video Matt! Will they be coming out with a Civilian semi only version? That looks fun :). You got to come shoot in Canada some time :) IPSC Canada Nationals maybe?

  • Yes a civvie version will coming out but without the full auto and includes a longer barrel

  • *Drooling* hope i can get my hands on one

  • I can't wait till they put this technology in a rifle caliber. I'm suprised the Germans the Swiss or the Belgians never thought of this. American enginuity (not sure I spelled that right) is not to be underestimated in the world of small arms.

  • The gun was actually originally designed in Switzerland by the head of a private holdings group known as Gamma Applied Visions Group SA. Testing and refinements of the original prototype have been done by TDI, Gamma's wholly-owned branch in the US. So it actually IS a Swiss-American collaborative effort. Damn fine gun, if I may say so myself.
