It is so difficult to get close VS Sim.

A big part of your game Mod are air throws.

Agains sim, its damn near impossible because his jumps are so slow, and he's able to attack in the air from a distance.

Plus sim players don't use jump ins to start their combos, so no air throws for guile

Very good point, however my biggest problem it's getting close enough to do some actual damage, sonic boom turtling is not my thing, and he is way smarter for that to actually work.

(Now if there was a way to use guile at an even faster pace or to use him in a way that you draw your opponents into playing your game like what he was doing to you then i think the next time you face him he won't stand a chance).......just lending a hand i don't know if my thought would help...it was just an opinion of mine...

Don't him it will work against Dhalsim, his best game is from middle to long distance, you could attract him but it will be like giving him more opportunities to break your game, I believe that unless I am close to him, I don't have a chance to win, cause he has low health, watch the last couple of matches and you will see what I mean.

His defense is unbelievable......the funny thing is when he plays against people like justin or gootecks or someone on his level he looks regular but when he plays against someone who doesn't play on an extreme level of fast pace it looks like he can read your every move.....GeoM I can't wait to see how much you're gonna improve your game against sims because of this.....i know these fights showed you what is to be expected at next years evo....your guile is still monster none the less..

Yeah, incredible defense, he tech like 90% of my throw attempts, and escape from corners so easy, it's hard for me to corner him, and yet he easily escapes. playing in middle to long distance is his game and I have a hard time getting close, I just love it.

why don't u do more crossups? Seems there are opportunities when ur near dhalsim that u either wait or jump in front. Not a criticism really just a question

Did I mention he was like an oracle? I played him in the past, crossups don't work that well, either he slides an escape while I'm in middle air, or he could slide and try a grab, either he grab me or he escape anyway, it is hard to play against him, he just know how to read what's coming after his setups, believe me, I love it, I was asking for some games since 3 days ago IIRC, I would love to have some more with him, maybe next week, who knows, but it's always a pleasure no matter if I lose.
