My friends and I talked to Jeroen Paul Thesseling (bassist) after the show and apparently he thinks he sucks because he doesn't know how to slap or tap.

@combustion071 I know! I've seen Obscura twice now and was completely amazed both times. He doesn't suck at all! It's weird though...he doesn't really listen to metal and all of his influences are...like...jazz players. Haha.

Yeah! It seems like alot of the technical death/progressive metal musicians are like that, it's odd but it makes for some kickass music lol. I'm definitely catching these guys again next time they come around. This show was my first time seeing them
