To tell the truth, out of the original 10 final fantasy villains, the only ones who weren't focused on total destruction were Garland, Jecht and Golbez. Garland wanting to rule the earth and to be immortal upon becoming chaos. Jecht was a good guy until he lost his sanity as the final aeon, and golbez filled with regret and hate at not being able to find the light cecil had. The rest have their own tale of meek-to-power-to-destroyer told slightly differently per time used.
And Kuja was flamboyant and destroy a large part(or a segment if you prefer) of one planet and had plans for another's demise, but ultimately couldn't fully challenge the hero's as they stop him and necron becomes the big bad.

Kefka had nothing and sky rocketed to power then proceeded to torment the entire world, but the heroes were focused on Gestahl and the empire up until the very point Kefka got all his mighty power. Sephiroth was a huge imitation of kefka, but he had higher depth and character story to go with him.

Honestly, what it comes down to is Sephiroth is a better character (backstory and stuff,) But as a villain, Kefka is a million times better, because they didn't need to give him a backstory, the bottom line was fucking evil, and he loved it

If you think about it, he has way more characteristics/personality than most FF villains.

The greatest music in video game history... outta that crappy midi context. Better is Seperoth, but thats for another time. I only listen to heavy metal music, and this makes me feel great. Everyone should hear this!
I think the only thing I don't like in it is just before the 2 minutes. The brass instrument doesn't quite work with that bit. I liked the organ in the origional there, because it really fit the madness of the tune. But the rest of it is amazing (with the exception of one or two sections which should be BELTED out, but that's hard to do in Software)

6 isn't nearly as easy as 8 was and don't even get me started on 7 (monster materia FTW) 8 i beat at level 27 with squall zell and rinoa with curaga on everyones HP and Ultima On STR and Meteor on Vit also had all the ultimate weapons (Card game FTW) with renzokuken and beatdown you can kill any boss in the entire game with minimal damage taken (also beat omega but rinoa died on me like 7 times)

You know, it occurred to me and my girlfriend recently.
Not only is Sephiroth the least successful Final Fantasy villain ever, Cefca (Kefka) is the most successful and most accomplished.
Sephiroth wanted to take over/destroy the world, and tried three times. The only thing he accomplished was kill Aerith (Aeris) and that proved to be his undoing.
Cefca managed to kill several gods, and conquer the world for more than a year before he was finally defeated. Also, his theme is beyond cool.
This remix doesn't do the original justice. Lack of vocals, too quiet/soft, drums much too quiet and not powerful enough, and in particular 1:29 needs to sound more epic and fast paced like the Black Mages arrangement.
The FF7 fanboys fawn over One-Winged Angel, but this song truly is the most fitting for a final boss fight I have ever taken part in. Four movements for four different sections of the fight, and all of your characters available as you move from one phase to the next.
Even though it wasn't all that difficult, no final boss is if you did the proper amount of level and magic grinding you should do.

@DjEzhel88 - kefa did not kill the warring triad, in fact, the returners fight them shortly before the final battle with kefka himself. but anyway, this was a great piece. it was different yet still close to home, so to speak. my only complaint is that you did the music for the tower, but not kefka's theme at the end. still sounds great though.

Yeah, this game is dead easy. Even if you don't do all of the side quests or pick up everybody. At level 40 I didn't have a single death in the last boss. Just spam 8 attacks and chain multiple Ultima's ftw.
Maybe Auntie Ulty should have fokused more of that time on kompressing the universe at least ONCE instead of trying to mindfukk every sorceress she kould get her hot little lesbo hands on...
...but then again, that time kompression is a bitch. XD
At the end of the day, when the credits start to roll, a World of Ruin is still a World of Ruin.

While they need to achieve a level of stronger (because they usually end up fighting like 8 people) but FF1: Garland was a normal knight who was out of anguish was called into a cycle. FF2: The emperor was just a smart mage. FF4: Zemus was a lunarian, that is higher being but not that much. FF6: A man who went too close to magic and went crazy, FF7: Some child who was injected with some weird cells. *Shrugs*

Seriously, it seemed like the guys who make FF really put their all into Dancing Mad. Making 17 minutes long, four movements, all of which so diverse.
I don't care what people say, this is the best FF final boss music. Screw One-Winged Angel.

6 isn't nearly as easy as 8 was and don't even get me started on 7 (monster materia FTW) 8 i beat at level 27 with squall zell and rinoa with curaga on everyones HP and Ultima On STR and Meteor on Vit also had all the ultimate weapons (Card game FTW) with renzokuken and beatdown you can kill any boss in the entire game with minimal damage taken (also beat omega but rinoa died on me like 7 times)

You know, it occurred to me and my girlfriend recently.
Not only is Sephiroth the least successful Final Fantasy villain ever, Cefca (Kefka) is the most successful and most accomplished.
Sephiroth wanted to take over/destroy the world, and tried three times. The only thing he accomplished was kill Aerith (Aeris) and that proved to be his undoing.
Cefca managed to kill several gods, and conquer the world for more than a year before he was finally defeated. Also, his theme is beyond cool.

I like the way everyone pusses out trying to do the complex arrangments in the beginning of the fourth movement. I get sick of that.
You stuck true to the whole song until that part, and then you skipped it -- out of nothing else I can see as anything but laziness!

This remix doesn't do the original justice. Lack of vocals, too quiet/soft, drums much too quiet and not powerful enough, and in particular 1:29 needs to sound more epic and fast paced like the Black Mages arrangement.

The FF7 fanboys fawn over One-Winged Angel, but this song truly is the most fitting for a final boss fight I have ever taken part in. Four movements for four different sections of the fight, and all of your characters available as you move from one phase to the next.
Even though it wasn't all that difficult, no final boss is if you did the proper amount of level and magic grinding you should do.

Some of the samples don't sound super hot. The flute around 1:10 doesn't sound very good at all and the trilling flutes would test any sample.
Good orchestration though. Some better samples would help. Maybe it's just YouTube.

@DjEzhel88 - kefa did not kill the warring triad, in fact, the returners fight them shortly before the final battle with kefka himself. but anyway, this was a great piece. it was different yet still close to home, so to speak. my only complaint is that you did the music for the tower, but not kefka's theme at the end. still sounds great though.

Yeah, this game is dead easy. Even if you don't do all of the side quests or pick up everybody. At level 40 I didn't have a single death in the last boss. Just spam 8 attacks and chain multiple Ultima's ftw.
