  • can u connect it to the wii

  • does it also go with a wii

  • @flamingninaj117 yes it goes with any gaming console

  • Some good marketing info, but I'd like to see a more objective review. Surely this device has some faults we should know about?

  • can you hook it to a wireless router?

  • can some 1 email me and explain are the adapter both wirdless >? can i use it with connecting a computer to the power line? pleaase email me if u got an answer

  • the adapters connect to your computer/laptop/xbox/ps3 via a ethernet cable there you go :D

  • technology is dubious as mains wiring is not designed for or compatible with networking-

I have heard that such adapters slow down your broadband connections too-probably not EMC compliant - hence this causes interference to radios over quite a wide area.

  • dont buy this there only 42.5mbps they can state 85mbps but that both directions of the signal added up the speed is half-duplex thus 42.5mbps if you get the 200mbps ones they will do 100mbps

  • does it work with modems?

  • can u use pin adapters like us-eu us-uk, with these units?

  • These products are illegal in the EU, they do not meet the EMC regulations and cause interference at over 100 Meters from the devices accross the HF spectrum.

  • The Netgear Powerline product did not work properly.

My DSL crashed often, also it disconnected, I had to rest or restart the DSL.

Did I put in the wrong IP (Internet Procol) numbers?

So, I took unplugged the Netgear Powerline from the wall outlet and needing more info on how to use these devices.

  • Can you plug it straight into your modem? I dont have a router.

  • an asian chick with a australin-ish accent, thats wierd!!

  • do u have 2 have 2 say to use with and xbox 360

  • yes

  • c nu plug his in2 a xbox 360

  • They do not explain the most important thing here. Do you plug one end into your modem and the other to the wall? They keep talking about plugging into a router, but the router has to be plugged into a modem. This makes no sense and the Asian lady is speaking so quickly, you cannot follow her. I say, CRAPPY how to video.

  • (Update)

I toke the DI 524 offline and removed it from My wireless network, now I am using the Netgear Powerline #(XEB1004)to connect to My Playstation 2 (Slim).

    (Update)

I do like this product, it works with My PC and I am also tring to get it to work a My Playstation 2(Slim).

    (Technical Stuff)

Maybe, it just needs the right IP (Internet Protocol) numbers.

  • Well, I'm to connect one powerline adapter #(XEB1004) to My 625 wireless router and the powerline adapter to DI 524 wireless router.

Witch the 2 routers are in 2 different parts of the house.

I'm having a rough time tring to connect them online.

The powerline adapters both have the same password. Could it be my firewall on my DIR 625 wireless router that is bocking the connection?

  • Powerline Wireless Range Extender is the best!!

  • what about if i use it with my consoles? like xbox or somthing.

  • It works for me! I use it for a Network HD
