Clearing up the bullshit: Hellhammer originally recorded the famous double bass part at 290 bpm using double strokes a.k.a. heel toe. They are 16th notes. When the band toured after the release of the album, they often used Tony Laureano as a fill-in live drummer. He performed at 290 bpm, but played triplets. Daray is performing at 280 bpm here playing 16th notes with single strokes. Arguing over who is a better drummer is asanine. There's no bona fide way to judge. They are all professionals.

everyone of borgirs drummers had a certain something that made each album or performance they had unique..barkers tom rolls and blasts were insane and tony L could never pulled that off live..props for trying tho..hellhammer had excellent feet work ..that {once again} tony L couldnt pull off..pretty geeked to see this new guy tho...hopefully he stays and tours..so borgir wouldnt suck every time i seen them

Barker is an outstanding drummer, Hellhammer's my favorite drummer ever, Daray is just as awesome.

I do, however, hate the drummer that always appeared with them on the DVD's, Tony Laureano, it's amazing how wrong could he go with the drums over their songs.
