↓Please don't misunderstand the below, I'm very disturbed by Polanski's poor judgement in taking advantage of the little slut. He certainly is the most guilty party in that case, deserved stiffer punishment at the time.

The proceeding persecution, however, more than suffices, in my mind, in that he hasn't done anything untoward since, and has lived a very respectable life w/ wife of 20+ years.

We ought to focus on bringing the real dangerous thugs to justice: the child-raping Catholic clergy.

Given how much Belzer believes in conspiracy theories, I'm surprised by his reactionary, orthodox view on the Polanski case. He repeats the standard unproven line he "drugged and raped a little girl in the ass." How ill-informed. He is condoning gossip here. These were not the facts of the case, only the initial accusations, quickly withdrawn and denied by the sexually mature girl who wants people to stop harping on it.

I expected better of Belzer.
