When I pull-off with the pinky it sort of deadens out. Any suggestions?

@ronin2167 take a screw driver and move the pickups on your guitar as close to your strings as possible without them touching eachother, also play around with, or buy a effects if you havent already, i have a effect on mine that i made that picks up finger tapping and stuff really easily so i can do this without my guitars sound bugging out

@charmen110 What effect are you using? I was actually thinking about putting super glue on my pinky to see if it gave me more grip to get a good pull-off.

What pedal/distortion are you using?

I have to use a metal distortion, sounds really bad and tapping doesn't get enough sound still...

put up the gain and put on distortion

also its sometimes the pickups or amp

my cousin has a better amp and pickups, and i can hear the tapping
