  • thank you for sharing this

  • I can only surmise that dance demonstrations like this have been passed down for generations.

  • Simply awesome!! I love my people!

  • you can call thais martial arts

  • Wow ! Good for my wake up ! ok ! i feel good .... Thx for share

  • its called indlamu

  • Celebrations are always so hype. I love the coordination... the chanting... the garments...I wonder if the tribe does personal appearances in America or is this documentation footage?

  • AWESOME VIDEO!!!!!! :)

  • Don't forget, in area size, Shaka conquered more land than Alex.

For those wishing to read about the Zulus' , Washing of the Spears,

  • Dont talk rubbish...Alexander conquered all of the known world of his time...still no match for Temujen though (look him up). All shaka did was to invent the assegai as a short stabbing spear that still be thrown and decided to kill his enemies on the battle field as opposed to just threatening behaviour.

  • Shaka revolutionized the Zulu army, making them much tougher than the surrounding tribes. His battlefield tactics at the time were quite brilliant.

Some of the tactics are still used today by conventional forces. His only downfall was he was not a statesman but a warrior. His rule was rather brutal.

Still, he's an important figure in history that shouldn't be swept aside.

  • you have no knowledge of the zulu or of shaka, dont let hatred blind you. owe and alexander did not conquer the known world. he conquered what he could. look up the kandice queens of egypt. ask yourself y alexander only had a city in egypt not the whole country. also you can fit all of america and most of europe in south africa. shaka ruled all of south africa. also look up Monomentapa more knowledge of south africa for you

  • I would have lovd to have been there, screw the sweat. The Zulus are and were one of the great people. Shaka was nothing short of a black Alexander the Great. He created an elemental force not just an empire.

  • My people sure can dance...every step instinct. Makes me very proud.

  • Ali082005 iam proud of that also and i feel VERY GOOD being a descendant of these people and everytime i see this type of films it make me feel that more.I REALLY THANK GOD FOR WHAT IAM!!

  • What were you doing near them if you are worried about their sweat. Obviously, you know that when people dance, they sweat out. As you can see their dance it just like going to the gym.

  • I watched Zulu dancing and singing at my skool today, was awesome but getting coverd with there sweat wasnt the fun part XD

  • Astonishing!! The music, percussion, and the sheer athleticism of the choreography leaves one breathless! Beautiful, and humbling. Thanks for the video.

  • wonderful.i really enjoyed it.

my appreciation for the fine presentation.

This removes the cultural and traditional barriers among the humanity.

    kammalan.

  • seen your comment. where u from?

  • I'm from Central Africa but I must say that the Zulu dance is one of the best, if not, the best in Africa. Thanks for sharing.

  • @Hadezul2 Somebody from South Africa told me it's called 'indlamu'

  • @x8appleg8x Its called indlamu lol I know took long to reply hi dude/chick my name is Zanoxolo Mnqobi Mkhize :-)

  • Use FireFox and get the 'Download Helper' add-on. It takes 5 minutes to set up, and you can download and convert anything on here, without even trying. Convert to AVI, MPG, etc, all on the fly.

  • A people who discard their culture become like the branches and leaves of a tree that has been cut away from its ROOTS. The trunks slowly wither away. The leaves are carried away by wind. The branches dry up and are burnt by people or left to be latently destroyed by rain, lightening and wind. Finally, the tree disappears from the surface of the Earth. Indeed, without the culture, Language and Freedoms of our ancestors we are nothing.

  • black americans are like that

  • I see what you mean but can you really blame them? They come from different parts of Africa. Where would they start?

  • I am a black american. I know we can't blame us but we are like that.

  • wonderful............
