  • Hello dear yes you do wear wigs far more, and lets not talk about the sunscreen you wear, cold eyes fake smiles. Monique you go girl, you were the very best and you have won to show it.

  • she's a beautiful woman

  • @astrophysicist40 you are so brain washed into Hollywood where only blond and blue eyes is beautifull! you are very lost-

  • @astrophysicist40 your a twat, and your opinion is fucked up

  • ark of hope?? ARCH, maybe?

  • omg she looks more Gorilla than a Gorilla!!

  • @hardcorenyc you are the one who looks like a gorrilla.

  • Oprah is a goddess ...

  • i dont like how oprah had to jump all over this! this is the other girls moment and she has to go on tv and promote it and make it all ABOUT HER!!!! she had her moment with the colour purple! she has a dam show followers i swear if they made it with a white cast i dont think oprah would be like aaaaw that poor over weight white girl living in a shitty trailer park with an abusive meth head of a mother! i swear that was lame of her to make this movie all about her!

  • @kaliyeal Racist! Black are animals living in projects on welfare like dogs! Crack head toothless prostitutes!

  • Remember when Oprah was a real person who had actual opinions and dealt with real subjects....What THE FuCK happened to that skinny fat bitch?

  • jesus oprah we get it, your black!

  • I HATE OHPRAH because she betrayed the jackson family and told their secrets >=\

  • luv oprah

  • Vogue Mag reports that Gabby has lightened her skin. Man, I thought it would be easier to lose 300-400 lbs. than it would be to become a Caucasian!!!

  • I think that Oprah in an inspiring, confident woman, and I dont think it shows any amount of class to pick the woman apart. It shouldnt matter what her gender or color is.

  • Lol she said Monique did what other actors aspire to do... Bitch monique has it in her blood to act like that because she's a nigger. she basically played a stereotypical nigger and got an oscar for it. stop acting like she's the black marlon brando bitch

  • @133742069 - LMAO i know right they think its acting its just them being normal

  • i like oprah because she got this powerful in her own right. she did not need to marry for that....and she has helped a lot of people. more power to women.

on the other side of the coin, she has become a diva and 15 shades lighter. just look at old pics and you will see what i am saying.

  • everybody loves oprah i get it, any haters out there ?

  • not just girls but people subject to verbal abuse

  • love you oppiee

  • @blondex21 Oprah's hair in the video is obviously real though chemically altered but bleach blondes should know all about chemicals, right? Anyway you should check the morals of your community before you speak on someone else's; I'll surely give you a history lesson if you are in need of one.

  • Comment removed

  • @blondex21 I'm not going to say anything about your comments except mention that I'm not going to say anything.

  • @MsMig88 - At least we don't have to wear wigs! Stop trying to be white & stay with your afro's! Stop wearing contacts because you people have ugly eye color!

  • Oprah fucking sucks, and all men in her audience look like hostages or dead men walking, and the female audience would cheer for hitler if Oprah says he was a fantastic guy, she only proves that most women are ruled by their emotions, and lack the ability of critical thinking

  • I can't believe what that bitch Oprah did to drew brees

  • From what ive seen blacks tend to be way more prejudice than eany other races ive seen growing up

  • I don't get it it though, it's a very great movie but it ends with her *SPOILER* having aids *SPOILER* so it's not very oplifting for me.

  • Dumb, dumb person

  • Thanks for EVERYTHING that you do. Appreciated always.

  • jesus is a crap

  • @ConnecticutsBest but thtas a reality..........not this movie but brown people themselves make themselves look that way

  • @MCFan20000 no they don't, the opression from the "white people" has made the "brown people" appear this way. The "brown people" were enslaved and then once freed weren't even allowed an education with "white people" until M.L.K. came along and helped revolutionize this country's view on the "brown people" And by the way, we're African Americans, calling us "brown people" makes you sound asinine, so stop.

  • 4 Everyone Dat'z Tryin' 2 Turn Diz Racial & Religious,Did U Even Watch Da Movie??

It Was Made In A General Sense. How Many Movies Are Made With Mentally Ill Parents? (If U're White Watch "American Crime".Actual Story Dat'z Just As Honest As Precious....Even Has Church Scenes! Lol)

Don't Watch Da Trailer & Think U Have Comprehend Da Movie

  • I wish people would wake up, she says "i wanted as many people to watch this". She should be doing that about a Christian film which saves people like The Passion of Christ. Not a film about a rapist father and abusive fat black black mother, poor, uneducated fools. It has no substance and it makes black people look bad well done Oprah.

Look around what year is it? We need Jesus.

  • yeah, coz Jesus (the most well known person in the world), needs Oprah as His publicist...

  • i agree wit ya in some part but u gotta be racist? the story is real not many ppl know about these sorta things am glad they did a movie about it. i never ever knew one of my goood friends was going through something like this until she commited suicide.

  • shut the fuck up with your ignorant dogma

  • @ConnecticutsBest - That what you people like!

  • oprah got some melons damn..i want the juices..lol

  • lol

  • I wonder where she finds hope in this story.

  • @cadiracadi Maybe she feels that she can relate to this story. After all, Oprah's history is very similar to this one.

  • @toodaloos93 "What's beautiful about this is the arc of hope and the arc of triumph" one hears the same thing everywhere about this film.

I came out of the screening room feeling depressed...and deceived that they have based a great part of the promotional campaign on HOPE.

In my opinion, it has nothing to do about hope, it talks about how ironic and revolting life can be, for instance.

By the way, actresses accomplish outstanding and deeply moving performances.

  • love oprah! amazing movie!

  • Oprah got some nice cleavage! eeeemmm

  • Damn i love that purple top .

I'm sure it costs like my rent x 3

  • @soapwonder

Maybe because Oprah & Tyler Perry PRODUCED THE MOVIE!!!

  • @soapwonder Oprah's story is very similar to this one. She was raped by her dad too, and abused by her mother. I'm sure she relates to it.

  • her uncle not father

  • she wasnt raped by her dad. It was her uncle and her cousin.

  • You give money then!

  • @Mightblack1 You're a moron, this movie was great and the story its based off of is terrible but heart touching. I'm white as white can get and I love this movie and would tell anyone who hasn't seen it to see it. All the actors/actresses in the movie did amazing. Gabby did an awesome job telling the story. Feeling such emotion through a movie is always a sign of success.

  • The movie was beyond tragic.. I needed a couple of days to digest it

  • The shut up and don't watch it.

  • Your booty bleeding.

  • Yes, haunting.

  • there needs to be more people like oprah in this world.

  • @BaiibehBoo SHUT THE HELL UP

  • @BaiibehBoo i don't think they will allow it

  • Shut up! You get on my nerves!

  • @AjmortShows I thank you for telling me that! I love to get on bastard born people nerves! Your mammy should have raised you better!

  • Pam4Rob , please keep your head up. I can't begin to understand fully what happened in your life but you have been brave enough to express yourself and your past . You really are a survivor.

  • Thank you I appeciate your comment. I am trying believe me, there are over a million people just in the state of NY right now that are unemployed, but I try everyday.

  • I had a similar upbringing as the girl portrayed in this movie, I was never raped by my father, But I was molested by an uncle, who lived in the house, My mother always called me names she was an alcoholic at the time, we had knock down drag out fights, and this movie didn't make me feel hopeful at all, it just made me re- live all the crap I went thru, and Life hasn't gotten too much better since then, Im unemployed, My husband is too, theres no jobs it's just really hard, and I don't feel hope

  • I wish I was, believe me

  • Proof you can say anything on the internet.

Proof that someone can read it and not feel affected by what you said.

You'll fall within the second sentence after clicking your comments.

  • @Pam4Rob

wow is that what Precious went through inthe movie ? my dad was strict ,verbally abusive n i hated him when i was younger .But i would so KILL him , literally ,if he ever raped me.

That's y i never understood how Josef Fritzl's daughter could bear all that lifelong tragedy .

  • i saw this film in an independant cinema in england and what i thought when I left was that it a beutifully made film. the emotion the actors give was amazing, the cinematography was brilliant, just a good film and deserves to win any award

  • I like oprah coz she does films of substance not that ghetto black stereotypical stuff. She deals with real issues and conveys them in a way which is inspiational. Phenomenal woman!!!

  • Is 'Precious' star Gabourey Sidibe African? What country is she from. Sne is a plus size beauty.

  • Her dad's from Senegal, but she was born here.

  • damn oparah got it just like that lol i call tyler nd and she just called monique up man i wanna go through that bitch phone book lol she got connects brah..respect

  • down loading it now! If Oprah says its good...

lewylop. com it gotta be good.

  • watch NOTORIOUS PRECIOUS on youtube

  • I believe Mo'Nique will be nominated. If she does, it will be a new beginning for her. She is a very underrated actress, just as Taraji P. Henson.

  • gonna miss oprah when she ends her shows..its too hard to wave goodbye, after watching her shows since ever, and this movie seems beautiful, cant wait to see it, but it kinda seems sad too :(

  • After seeing the movie, it was anything but beautiful. It was heart-wrenching, and as real as that type of situation can get.

NOBODY should have to go through what that girl went through.

  • i hope Oprah talked about Gabby 'cause she was amazing.

  • Wow Oprah. I love her profound and touching movements.

  • what!!! this movie is amazing!!!

  • Oprah had nothing to do with the making of this movie, she just saw it and now is promoting the shit out of it. I'm glad she wasn't involved in the making, actually, I think the movie is more raw and real like the book because she didn't touch it.

  • are you dumb?! she paid for the movie. "produced by: oprah" do your research

  • uh, no. Did u not listen to the interview? She SAW the movie after it was made.

  • Wow. You're a fucking idiot. Oprah is listed as a producer in the credits of the film. Perhaps you might need some remedial schooling yourself. Precious...

  • Yes, she signed on as a producer after the film was made. She had nothing to do with the making of the film---it was independant.

  • Oprah got great tits.

  • bye oprah we are going to miss your shows

  • one of the best movies I've seen in a long time, with solid performances all the way round

  • @agent9752 even mariah carey

  • gorgeous all time
