@majestytd try to practice more the volley no't only the forehand and backhand are the best ,.... and if udon't have a good vollley u can't do <serve-volley or forehand or backhand-volley
@majestytd the best thing i've found when volleying in doubles is to be ready for the ball early.. like before your opponent hits the ball. if you split step or 'unweigh' yourself right before he hits the ball you should be ready to react to the ball and shouldn't be nervous
Yep, i was in Madrid at the tournament and the stringer guaranteed me, he uses the Microgel Prestige Pro (16/19 pattern). Now he has the YouTek Radical Paint Job on it. The Prestige is simple THE Tour racket of most Male Players.
It was only his mental game that he improved. He has always been a good tactician and he reads the game really well which is how he gets all those balls back without being a super fast player. While I think Murray is a fantastic player, I personally do not like his style of play, for example is groundstrokes, and how he hits the ball. His volleys look great though.
his fitness as well, he´s faster around the court and his endurance has improved, murray himself said that he´s working very hard on his conditioning.
I have had enough of people that dont know shit about tennis talking nonsense. Here are 2 pics, sampras & federer- arm locked! (wont let me put the link, do some research!)
listen dickheads- A sampras/federer/rafter/edberg "classic" volley-you often hit with the arm bent and if ur in the right position your arm should get straight after, ask roger how his arm is!MURRAYS VOLLEY IS STILL GREAT!
I agree. I would love to see you beat him using the "correct" form of hitting a volley. Honestly there is no correct way to hit a volley. Just whatever the person adapts to.
his technique on the backhand volley is wrong, he never straightens his arm, most people would hit too much side spin like that but he hits it so clean that I guess he has good technique haha
I can see what theycallmesheff is saying. Andy swings a little bit from his shoulder on the backhand volley rather than just jabbing with his forearm. It doesn't matter much, though, because he still split-steps before every ball, he still turns his shoulders, and his body weight is always going forward. Minor details like his elbow don't make a difference.
Henman was a fantastic vollyer

You all are jokes. He uses the PT57A. Which is a Pro tour 630 with a flexible lay-up.

Guys, can you tell me in tennis game what is the hardest thing to master???
I found that volley is very difficult for me to master when I play doubles I really get nervous standing close to the net and Im not good at it.
I like to serve especially the kick serve, backhand and of course forehand.
What do you guys think???
