Irving is a washed up pseudo historian who debunked himself in court. See Irving vs. Lipstadt. As far as jews being gassed, read: The Good Old Days" by Klee, Dressen and Reiss....all German and printed in Germany....Over 300 pages of Nazi testimony regarding gassings etc.

No person should be put into prison for a BELIEF. Even if you don't agree with him one should respect his ability to have an opinion. And to the point of having an opinion, the Holocaust is such a religion unto itself now, that if one dares question ANYTHING about it, or to simply have educated discourse, people get rabid and insane. It's to be expected though, that's how religion works.

@xciteful He was not put into prison for holding a belief. It's the publication of that belief. No one denies him his opinion, nor his ability to have one. It's the promulgation of said opinion/belief. Ironically we have libel laws which defend exactly what you are bemoaning, and that is, there are limits to what one can publish and it is up to the courts to determine what those limits are. Libel laws are designed to prevent propagation of lies, but a "lie" is often not that black and white.

you Americans are all about freedom of speech, but when someone speaks the truth and backs it up with evidence you call it slanderous simply because it proves the jews lied about the holocaust. if the holocaust really happened, why did so many survive? (over 100 000 in NY city alone) Why was there no zyclon B traces in the walls of the so called 'gas chambers'? Israel is a terrorist state who is committing genocide this very second, but nothing is getting done, because of the holocaust lie..

The irony is I think the jews actually had nothing to do with the gas chamber story. That was Eisenhower and mostly the USSR. My personal opinion is the gas chambers were a convenient cover story for the fact that Allied bombing starved out most of the inmates. I used to think the gas chambers were an undisputed fact but the David Cole series at Auschwitz does a damn good job of instilling doubt if not destroying the claim all together.

Mr. Justice Gray outlined DI's omissions, distortions and suppression of relevant evidential historical material, concluding that DI "manipulates the historical record in order to make it conform with his political beliefs."
