  • there are a few issues I'd like to suggest.

    - the NW passage shortens a shipping route so not much need to dock/resupply

    - we don't have to rescue the ships that run into danger

    - we don't have to grant flights over our territory either

    - as an international passage it puts at risk out internal shores and we have the right to ensure they are protected. thus the only way to ensure they are is to regulate our "internal waters"

    We've already had to rescue one American icebreaker!

  • sounds good, loseno canadian land, can controle the sea way and regulate it, if only these guy's could lye to the public they would make great politishions in te artic aria
