Compare this to the great video of Mike Hawthorn doing a lap of Le Mans in a D-Type in 1956 - the edge of the circuit was just trees, fields, hedges. If you went off, the chances of survival were minimal. Have enormous respect for the drivers of that period.

Is that a yellow and blue Lister-Bristol that passes you up on the first part of Mulsanne?

I see it get blown of by the 1960 246 S in a video from that car.....something even more noisy than your big Healey.....
