This is true, birds of a feather flock together. It is the same with obesity as it is with weight loss. I used to not worry about my weight until I got a job in an area very concerned with weight. Then I became concerned, and vice versa with my overweight mom, our eating is worse.
I am obese, my friends are all like 109lbs, I think they eat more than I do, and don't work out as much as I do, and still be thin, I don't think it is obesity contagious, but that just my case tbough I can't talk about others.
