The Outsider's had more than just a couple of hits........."Time Wont Let Me" it number 16 National in January of 1966 and number 5 in Cleveland Ohio. This song was their third release after Time won't let me which was followed by Girl In Love.
What a great song....loved it back in the 60s and now it sounds just as good today..the Outsiders just had a special sound....this is one of my favorite songs from them....thanks for posting nice job....
.....I LOVE THE OUTSIDERS!! This was a top 40 hit, & a follow up to Top 10 smash, "Time Won't Let Me". Check out "Girl In Love" by The guys, it's beautiful!! *****STARS out of 5!! Peace Gary in PA USA.
The Outsiders were BIG in Cleveland,Ohio, This was Always My Favorite song by them,The Animals version wasn't bad,But it doesn't compare to this. For Me, THIS is THE Original Version. Thanks.
The Outsiders were big in Ohio where I grew up, however I don't remember this one by them. I remeber The Animals version of this song which was out about the same time....Which one is the "original" Thanks for a good post.
@thewillismon Loved this Outsiders!! Actually, neither was the original, although some say the Animals recorded it first. It was the B side of 'See See Rider' which charted here in Chicago in Oct., '66. The Outsider's version was the one that stayed on our charts Nov. through Dec. '66 :)
Pretty good but prefer The Animals version.

@fntime I have the original mono recording on an old tape. This is a 'stereo' remix of the original recording. Says so on the cd liner notes.
