Sry for 2x posts, needed more than 500 chars. ~~ I love in this vid seeing the pitcher and the players laughing at it all. it's one of my favorite things about living there. Everyone thinks Japan is rigidly formal and strict but I've never seen more people laugh and find humor in everyday life. And tough as nails, the field-days at school would never fly in the US, dangerous events, kids getting hurt left and right, and teachers/parents/peers just telling them to 'suck it up' and keep going.

Still one of my favorite vids... I taught English there for a while and was surprised to how much baseball is adored.

They play a totally different style, more team oriented. Tons of sacrifice bunts/outfield targeted hits rather than swinging for HRs. And at the end both teams face off and bow, then the losing team has to face the fans and bow before leaving the field. And they sob like babies at a tough loss. Literally a line of ~20 grown men facing the crowd and just crying their eyes out.

I saw this YEARS ago for the first time in Japan...I actually was living in Chiba in 2005-2007 and saw it come across the TV but had no way to rewatch it. Forgot about it, then saw it posted somewhere and instantly it all came back :) Every time I see I have to watch it. Laugh every time.
