  • look at the pitch haha. they'd refuse to play on that these days

  • I am Scottish but still remember to this day watching in awe as this unknown guy from a non league team lived the dream. The hairs on the back of my neck stood up as he did the unbelievable when the ball hit the back of the net..thanks for the memory Ronnie

  • real men, real tackles and wearing real shorts. Not like todays football

  • best goal ever

  • Mark Knopfler, Hank Marvin, Lord Collingwood, Cheryl Cole - you're boys took a helluva beating, a HELLUVA beating!

  • guy had a little too little jersey ;D

  • no the best but good

  • lets be havin' you. GREAT goal. Ronnie you legend. A hereford hero through and through

  • magnifico. One of the greatest FA Cup moments of all time.

  • why did he even shoot haha?

Those kind of goals wasnt exactly common back then. he invented the Screamerr!

  • probably couldn't be arsed running in the mud any longer which is maybe why he took it instead of dribbling another 10 yards. Thank God he did because he forever created out of absolutely nothing a priceless moment AND scored "pound for pound" the very best FA cup goal of all time in my book. Ronnie Radford will live on forever because of what he did in 15 seconds almost 40 years ago. Ron you are THE MAN!!!

  • Thank God it's not today then !!

  • No one will ever forget that goal....no one.

  • Great Tackle,Great One-Two And Great Goal From A Bygone Age! If Ronnie Did That Today The Other Player Would Have Been Rolling Around In Agony & Ronnie Would Have Been Booked!

  • Probably true. Sheesh.

  • definitely true, just imagine if it was Ronaldo who was stripped of the ball in that tackle.

Totally different result would have ensued.

Such a shame. The FA need to really teach the Refs how to adjudge this kind of behavior.

    Harshly.

  • To be fair, we don't exactly see the bloke get up, dust himself off and carry on with the game. .. He seems to be doing a fair bit of writhing last time we see him! Still, one hell of a goal!

  • @threeeyedfishy Erm.....the guy who he tackled was rolling around on the floor :/

  • @tomo182 .Maybe the guy is Ronaldo's Dad!
