Corporate America was perhaps a more "mellow" album than past Boston albums. But, still has nice guitar licks, just not as aggressive as past albums. This one is a nice one. Listen closely to the bass, especially at 1:05, and 2:17. It's played by Billy Carmen. Nice little groove!. Also, nice guitar by Tom Scholz.
This song could have been a great power ballad for a hair band if only it had been released 10 years earlier. It's a nice little song but it wasn't a good match for the classic "BOSTON sound".
I hate this song. One of only two Boston songs i dislike (The other being Turn It OFF- notice a pattern?). Fran can also sing well, yes, but this is not him singing well. go listen to So You Ran or Nothin' To Lose
I know don't know everything about Boston, but personally I don't think this is much as good as Boston and Don't look back. It just doesn't much sound much like Boston as I know it. Just their earlier stuff more appeals to me. No offense to y'all who like this more. Rock on Boston!
Yep this is real music right here instead of this punk rock and heavy metal bull crap everyone's into these days. yeah u might b suprised to hear this out of me cuz im only 13
I must say i'm impressed with the album completely. i could listen to it all day. the only album i wouldn't give a 5/5 they wrote was Walk On, but that was still like a 4/5 and good stuff. boston will always be one of my favorite bands
Fran is a amazing talent as with boston .I think frans voice is great his songs have meaning !LISTON TO GRAVITY HIS LATEST SONG IT TOTALLY ROCKS AS FRAN ALWAYS DOES!
Very good song. Makes me think of my first school crush though... :(

This may not be Brad, but he still has the voice of an angel, and the band is sounding beautiful as ever.. But they just aren't Boston.

@schicksta1 Not on this song, this is Fran Cosmo. He sang on a few songs on the album, but not this one.

I love this album except for the song with that awful girl singer - has no place on a Boston album.
Anyone know if Boston is creating any new albums, even if Brad has left us?

See you soon, Brad. :-)

Boston is constitutionally incapable of making a bad song.
Anyone else think this sounds a little like Oasis, though?
FluffyBunniesOnFire 2 years ago
I said maybe. You could be the one that saves me.
mavsfan1000 2 years ago
Its better han Oasis, those fags copy the Beatles but Boston just does it good.

Another thing that always impresses me is how the bass moves so much underneath the guitar, like at 2:18. It really adds a lot to their sound.

So well written! This goes to show that good talent never gets old, it transcends all time.

Probably the most underrated song on this album! The drum fill before the chorus is awesome, too!

My heart is cryin' indeed still for Brad. Great song but such a contrast to the happy, upbeat Boston songs of old. Shows what his presence had truly

Yes, I know. Fran is really good, but Brad was a 100% LEGEND. I miss him to....
