  • Ciao Gvi.

  • You do a great job on this Tull son. I have been playing for two years and recently decided I wanted to learn some Tull acoustic songs. They seem way too tough for me but you seem to make it easy. So why don't you post some more songs you do? You obviously are very talented.

  • @teeman1957 Thank you teeman. They are good, I think my favourite just to play is Skating Away. But yes, I have done lots and lots of music since then. I'm not really one for covers, but I have a lot of original stuff and a few bands doing that too. No really decent recordings yet. But if you see this channel, most of the videos are originals (from a while ago though) and search up the channel called BrayDenmeade. On it is some more recent of my stuff, including some live performances of my band

  • Excellent my friend, I'm impressed. I was doing a lot of stuff at 11, but I wasn't covering Tull. Nicely done.

  • Nice!

  • superb. congrats!

  • Nice! I'd love to see some of your later stuff, but this is pretty impressive for such a young 'un. Nice to see JT stuff still played. Congrats and ROCK ON!!!

  • hey Bray, while you've not even finished doing your wisdom teeth, you done something outstanding here. what made you go for this tune?

  • fair fuckin play to ya!..

  • You are awesome man thanks for a great video ;D

  • wow, great job!!!

  • Dude I'ma Big Jethro tull Fan, I play guitar for month and a half now and i thought i couldn't play this song for a long long time but, when i saw this You planted some hope in Me, Keep On dude Nice Job u'r Doing, how old are u?

  • @jemikojemiko That's actually so nice to hear, that's most definately the most valuable thing I could do with this. I'm fifteen, I was eleven in this video I believe.. or ten- around that time. That was a while back, and I just came back now after my acount has been screwing with me for a long while. Can you plat it yet? :)

  • Excelent!

  • I love Tull too, You did a great job on this!

  • talented

  • Excellent concept of chord progression and great execution. Not to mention the obvious good taste in music. Rock on young man. Thumbs up from another Tull fanatic.

  • OK, just HOW OLD ARE YOU??? Im a 53 year old TULL FANATIC, and still try to play his stuff! You are beyond amazing for your talent! (and choice of music) Do you have a website/Facebook page so people can follow you! If so, Im a "LIKE" fan!! KEEP IT UP!, you've got a wonderful future ahead! Stay away from cigs and drugs though!

  • Nice job!

  • That was great.

  • nasal jane...

  • Bro,

I have some great seats to see Jethro Tull this weekend at the Chicago Theater. I was just going through YouTube listening to some of his jams and came across your cover. The only reason why I clicked on it was ,I thought , "this guy looks a little young to be getting into Jethro Tull" ...... You rock man !!! .... Its obvious you put your time in.... Keep it up, it will pay off for you some day ..

    Regards

  • @C6Dude402 Thank you man! Just managed to get onto youtube for the first time in ages. I saw them in March. Along with Dylan and Osibisa. Incredible. I'm glad you think that, I hope your concert was just as awesome as mine!

  • Very nicely done. I really like that you played on the neck, gives the guitar such a sweet tone. One thing to note, you miss the G chord on two different occasions, once during the verses and once during "And the love that i feel..." The progression for the latter is D Am C Em G A

  • Brilliant. You've got a bright musical future ahead buddy

  • i hate you in a way you should be proud of..

  • i hate you in a way you should be proud of.

  • GREAT COVER DUDE !!!

  • @Pasalaqcua Already did, buddy. Mind you this was a good two or three or four years ago. I too wish you good luck in your own adolesence.

  • @bray12do

Goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood BOY! This was just lovely. I sincerely enjoyed this.

Wish you all the very best! ................................. I really don't know what else to say!!!!! GREAT!!!

  • @bray12do I really enjoyed this! Now that you're older, how about an updated version?

  • @Pasalaqcua: Fuck you, asshole. This kid is awesome.

  • @tscarlsson I apologize.

  • By the time his voice grows into the songs that he's doing (about 100,000 cigaretts from now, GOD forbid) This kid will be making money playing that guitar of his,he is something special. YOU GO "BIG D"

  • @eastdedhamheadly Thank You, my friend. You're words are very motivating. Personally I'm not one for tobacco, but that is a great thought and a future I would love.

Peace and love to you man,

    I

  • This young man has his head in the right place, THAT'S for sure. Please keep playing, for the love of GOD.

  • What an amazing job you did young man. This piece along with A Passion Play got me through my teen years. How have you managed to pick this up at such a young age? Ian's guitar work is quite tricky and you, my man, have mastered his techniques beautifully. I would pay you to teach me the song. Keep up the good work.

  • @DrNeb And I would teach you for no money. This was a few good years ago and if I sounded a bit dodgy I have developed a fair bit since then. I agree some of his techniques are tricky, I'm glad you thought I could use them well. Thank you very much.

  • Thank you. I'm seeing him early this year, performing in a festival with Robert Zimmerman. It will be brilliant, or atleast I think, two of the people for which I have the most respect for in the world. I'm glad you enjoyed it

  • @bray12do wow, that would be a nice concert! take me with you lol btw how old were you in this video?

  • @halterman666 Eleven I think. And now I'm fourteen. I'd love to take you with me man (by the way, BB King's there too :D)

  • Bravo !! I've been a Tull fan for nearly 40 years and just recently caught another performance of Ian's. Great guitar work yougn man and it just simply does my heart good to see someone of your age appreciate the music of Jethro Tull. Keep up the great work and follow your dream.

  • Lindo, bravo!!! 5/5

  • @alexmejia26 thank you very much

  • wow.. watching this again it makes me think, almost a whole month ago i saw this and i thought. He is so amazing, i would like nothing more than to talk to this kid. Now not even a month later, it's so beautiful :) it's an honor to even know you best-friend! :) -Amanda~

  • @AmandaTull9 dude, that's exactly how I feel. I'm honoured and priveledged to even know you exist. I can't promise you you've ever talked to this kid, but you've talked to me and everyone else in I you've ever known over the past four weeks or so, maybe that's better. hehe, I love you. you are beautiful, best friend

  • @bray12do no, thank you! that's good because Reading your words and thoughts makes me feel better, happier :)

  • WOW!... Really well done! I love seeing young people that still appreciate the older classic stuff...Keep it up! I grew up listening to Jethro Tull to take the edge off dealing with my parents and school from day to day... now I play a bucnch of their songs for fun and a little money...Jeff 5

  • Bray, this is AMAZING! i absolutley LOVE Jethro Tull so much that i play the flute, be my best friend! :) im 14 years old, find me on Fb- "Amanda Grace Amell". cuz your so awesome and i need more friends that appreciate Jethro Tull :)

  • @AmandaTull9 I'm fourteen to man!! That's so awesome, you even play the flute!! I'll find you, friend :). Jethro tull are one of my favourite bands dude!

  • @AmandaTull9 Two weeks ago..... really? well new best friend there's a long mile to go :)

To be so inspired and motivated so from a single thing is so incredible and amazing.. and it's TULL!!! like the awesomest person on the planet! ah Jethro Tull, who has lead us to find such beauty and passion. That's also amazing isn't it? that such a big aspect of your life comes directly from someone. It just goes to show how truly brilliant Ian Anderson and Jethro Tull are. Never change man,

    me

  • @bray12do thank you best-friend :') Ian's been a big aspect on me since i was a little girl, at age 9 his greatest hits album was my favorite cd to listen to in the car.. haha my dad was always weirded out being so young and liking his music. let's not change together.

    -Myself.

  • @AmandaTull9 ok, best friend. I'll try my very best

  • @bray12do Good God that was freakin incredible! I've been playing that song for 30 years and I've missed some parts that you got. Your inflection and timing, especially when singing the middle part that fights the guitar, is spot on! I'm just awed! If you have a chance check out our version on youtube (search Donohoe and Grimes). We also do Mother Goose which you may already do. Hats off to you my friend! Mike Grimes

  • @yairidy90 Thank you friend, I most certainly will

  • You might've heard this a couple hundred times already, but that's just one badass cover right there! Keep it up, Braydon!

  • @AdrianMuravey you can never hear it too many times man. hahahaha, thank you!

  • Braydon, that was not the piece of music I'd expect to see someone your age putting up on Facebook which made it even more fun to watch. Great job!!

  • @loukaps2 Thank you very much. my age doesn't mean anything, It's just real, brilliant music, and I've been lucky enough to find it. peace be with you man

  • Hey you're really good! I'd pay to see you, and I'm a Tull fan!

  • @mcwulf25 hahaha. thanks dude, tull are brilliant

  • Hats off young man...:) I always disliked those "I am 14 and like Jethro Tull" comments...and here is a young man playing Thick as a brick so well...

  • @somaditya75 I don't like it either man. Age doesn't mean anything. And thank you

  • Comment removed

  • Bad-ass cover dude. Rock on \m/(>_<)\m/

  • @Mitchelhc thanks brother

  • WOW!!!!! first and formost you nailed the whole song intro .....middle and end even some of the real light strumming parts .....no easy task man,but the part I liked the most is the feeling that you put into it just can't fake that stuff!!!!! Thanks for letting and old rocker know there is hope in the younger generation.........just keep on rocking

  • @ajourneyman54 Thank you man, it's that aspect I strive for the most. Yes, few of the younger generations have been exposed to and appreciate art, music today has long since been infected by business and greed and most people don't look past that and roll with it. (In general I hate alot of my generation) But I assure you man I'm not the only one and everyday it seems more people are waking up to it (maybe that's just my eyes expanding). But art and dreams are to real to die.

    Wishing you peace

  • I think your talent is amazing!! I have listened again and again to the way you play this song and have told friends who are fans of Tull to take a look at it as well. We all agree you are a great talent. Just hope that Ian happens to stumble across it one day. He would definitely be impressed.

  • @riveroaks99 That means alot to me man, thank you. Great music, talent's the talent of Ian Anderson, not me. But yeah, I admit it would be awesome if he did see it. wiching you peace, Braydon

  • Hey man..... You are very good! It is nice to see someone so young interested in TULL music, instead of the garbage they call music today. I am 54 years old and you inspried me to learn this song... (at least the intro) I use you clip for pratice, because it is correct and at a good speed I can keep up with. You do this tune very well my friend, keep up the good work. NOW TRY SALAMANDER by TULL. tune your ax to DADGAG and go for it. thanks for your song John

  • @Yonkle I'm honoured to have played that role in your life man. and yeah man I agree, nothing business based could ever be art, and there's a lot of that going around now. It's just so obvious when you compare britney spears and justin beiber to artists like tull, zeppelin and bob dylan. I'll have a crack at salamander. Thanks man, wishing you peace Braydon

  • Mad props for being so young yet listening to such good music....I see a good future ahead of you!

  • @Eep25 Glad you think so man. thanks

  • fantastic

  • @mystratagem Thank you man, for your encouraging words. Regaurdless of me, the main point is, Jethro Tull's awesome. wishing you peace

  • great job

  • @guitargod666able thanks man

  • Hey man nice job. I don;t think your voice is particularly whiney, but it'll probably get less whiney as you get older (mine did) Failing that, take up chain smoking lol. Anyway, nice cover (Y)

  • @randyrhoadesRIP thanks man. yeah it already has mostly.

  • Very nice version, You play well. you've got a good voice, but maybe you should get some help to make it sound less whiny :P

  • @Chromedomeer yeah i know hay man, it annoys the crap out of me. mind you this was about two years ago. thanks man

  • I've been playin' for 34 years. In fact, loved Thick As A Brick at your age. Keep it up. You definately have talent. The trick now is to keep it up. Stay with wherever music takes you and you'll have a great life... do what you love and the good life/love/happiness/money will follow. Good Luck.

  • Thank you man. I've no plans on slowing. It's a great song, great band, i'd sit there and play the full version if i could. I hope your years have been and will be peaceful and heartfelt.

    Glad to speak to you

  • @bray12do

Thanks for the reply - just a thought, if you have'nt already, checked out Emerson, Lake and Palmer for Keith Lake's guitar and also the group Yes, for Steve Howe's - a couple of groups and guitar work I liked at your age.

  • Man, I know yes, they're brilliant. Their music is so good, really my kind of music. I checked out Emerson, Lake and Palmer, i hadn't seen them before. they're really good, i like them. My favourite guitarists are probably Hendrix and Plant ( I love zeppelin, and bob dylan and richie havens etc, i think i'll say for no reason ). I like your taste. thank's man

  • @rckymtnhighs hey dude, I just want to say thank you. Emerson Lake and Palmer is one of my favourite groups now. they're so good!!

  • Ehi, Ian Anderson should see this !!!

Best song/album ever IMHO, and your version is awsome, boy !!!

I see so many boys on youtube with the electric guitars making a lot of noise. At last one playing the acoustic very well.

  • Thank's man, i really appreciate it. And yeah, best album ever, along with the essential bob dylan (in my opinion). jethrotull are awesome
