Tight ,MASSIVE, then peaceful .Beautiful contrasts.Imagine Procol (Grand Hotel tour)as headliner with King Crimson (Lark's Tongues)in middle w/ Dr.John as the appetizer.
This fantastic song by Procol Harum answers the question put forth in the title of a recent book - "What's Wrong With Kansas?" Now we know why Bush got elected twice. Great cartoon - perfect for the kiddies.
carnacki65; your video is awesome! love procol harems song. and the cartoon is great. they don't make them like that anymore! just out of curiosity was that max fleischers?
Thanks for posting this, I have waited a very long time for it on YouTube. Unfortunately, at the present time I have no audio capability, but I will add it to my favourites anyway. This song has been appropriate for my life the past two years. Recent experiences have left me with no doubt that the devil absolutely DID come from Kansas.
k orions, this is ( was) my/ our song. Sorry I never took time out to find out yours.
Bless your soul

Reminds me of Elvis in Heartbreak Hotel, that echo like it's coming down a hallway.
No giving Trower his props for 10 excellent years and then slacking off as a front man

Man, I love those old time cartoons. The cartoon definitely goes well to the song.
What is the cartoon?

I'll help you out with that by asking the people of Big Cartoon Database!

I'm not a humble pilgrim, there's no need to scrape and squeeze, and don't beg for silver paper when I'm trying to sell you cheese.
Fantastic lyrics. One of Procol's best, and that almost says too much.
