A wonderful rendition of a piece that set bass players afire and gave us a chance to be "flash" on our instrument! An implied compliment, Jaco's tone, timbre and staccato are ubiquitous! Bravo!
Hi bassweld, thanx for the comment, nice you like and we share the same influence and heroe(there's another one?just kiddin'!!!)Grretings from Mexico!!!
Excellent! You get a great fretless sound on a fretted with some heavy string-bending. Cool! Also, the ideas you express in-between Jaco's original lines rock-- they feel more comfortable than when you're "playing along." They speak to a mature musical personality.
My only criticism: there are a couple spots where you're rushing just a tiny bit, like around the 0:15 mark. It's only natural when playing a difficult head, and it's pretty minor.
muy bueno ! lastima que no lo tocaste con un jazz bass... pero buen sonido igual ! bien ahi siguiendo los pasos del mas grande y papa de todos los bajistas.
